I love how he just put to bed that this was an on going process, which it was not.
He literally just said this happened fast and a decision was made over a series of conversations. Said it wasn’t his search and he doesn’t know what happened prior to his one and only talk with Scott. Lol, he wasn’t our first choice boys.

I think Scott was talking to his agent all this time working out details. Then he and Scott talked for 45 mins that he regerenced.

I would argue that we need to change some of the Louisiana culture in our players. I am tired of having emotional teams that need to be "up" in order to win the important games. Less heart-on-sleeve Louisiana joi de vivre and more workman-like grit and consistency. No more fricking quitters.

One of the themes of the thread started by the ND fan was that Kelly doesn't ever lose games he's supposed to win. That's what's always been scary in the past. Not the big ones....that's when the chainsaw get's attached to our undercarriage.

Do people really think Woodward has a list, ranked like 1-10 and started calling 1 and only moved to 2 when 1 said no?
Multiple agents were called multiple coaches. Interests was gauged. When the gauging of interests becomes more like a negotiation, thats when things get serious and it wold be silly to think negotiations werent being had with Riley and Kelly at the same time in the same way Riley (via his agent) was negotiating with LSU and USC at the same time.
