So Aranda is supposed to cover WRs and give coverage up top and also get good pressure on the QB
Maybe she should have thought about a 12th player on the field.

I'm not saying that Dave Aranda made EVERY right call, but his biggest problems in 2018 was injury to D backs.

As normal, everyone defends Aranda and is quick to trash O. LSU has 10 wins because the offense also carried us during some points of the season. It's was a team effort to get to 10 wins! All I'm saying is if he continues to make those same stupid mistakes, LSU is never going to beat the big boys on a consistent basis!

I don't think anyone is under the illusion that Aranda or any other coordinator makes 100% of the right calls all the time. But he's a goddamn great coach and earned every cent of his paycheck this year.

So what happened when he left our last-string DBs on an island by themselves right before half? Against the good teams in the SEC, halftime may be too late for making adjustments.

What he did to start that second half with what he had to work with was remarkable. We forced like three or four straight 3 and outs.. and then even when we muffed a punt HE STILL held them to only a fg!

The defense gave up over 21 points 3 times this season and we are 1-2 in those games.
0-2 in games when we gave up over 25

One coordinator masked weaknesses with playcalling and adjustments.
The other coordinator decided to call slow developing plays that put the most pressure on the weakest unit on the team.

Well, that pass is costing us a lot of money, so it's time for him to step up and make the needed adjustments or it's going to cost us more wins!
