Maybe if we replace him with you. There Are many competent coordinators out there.

Agree with you on the A&M game; we should have blitzed the QB in all 7 OTs. The rest of your post was hogwash!

Aranda's far above competent, pal.

Against UCF, giving up that TD right before half was simply poor coaching. How do you let your last-string defensive backs have no protection over the top? If anything, we should have had three DBs standing on the goal line making sure they didn't get into the end zone without being double or triple teamed!

You, along with the announcers are very wrong on this. Aranda saw the wide recievers breaking wide open and decided it was a better strategy to man up and try and get to the qb before they got that open. Which ended up shutting down UCF dramatically.

Without that pick 6, he gave up what, 22 points?

Can't fault a defense for shutting a team down twice in a row because of a fumbled punt, that gave them 3 points. They had the one crazy touchdown pass right before half - that was preceded by us going 3 and out twice in a row with 7 starters out, and 1 crazy drive at the end of the game. In fact, Jacoby was almost there before he got that TD pass off before half, you could tell he was fatigued and just one step behind.

That's pretty dang good. The offense did a great job possessing the ball, but they also gave up 7. Special teams gave up 3. They also had several field goals that would have ended the game had they been touchdowns. Overall, offense performed amazing, but I fail to see how you fault Aranda for giving up 22 points with 8 starters gone.

All I can do is laugh at you. He had to use a receiver at CB. WTBF!? Is wrong with you!?!?!

don't sell it short... we actually played a couple of Wr's @ DB this game

I guess he expects the fricking scout team to be 5 star DB's?

Sorry dude this is college, not the Pro's. We were down 9 of 11 starters and like 11 of 15 of our best defensive players overall. Idk what more you could want from Aranda.. dude did a great job considering what the hell we had left.

Aranda ain’t the only DC who could coach this team to a win over ucf and their backup qb. Not by a long shot. ESP when you consider how easily the offense moved the ball.

Their backup qb outperformed the starter against Memphis when he came in and replaced him.

You think other DC's could shut down a pace offense with 70% of his defense missing?

Sure but not every DC is holding them to 25 points with the players he had, and a muffed punt in field goal range (they got 0 yards after the muff)

As normal, everyone defends Aranda and is quick to trash O. LSU has 10 wins because the offense also carried us during some points of the season. It's was a team effort to get to 10 wins! All I'm saying is if he continues to make those same stupid mistakes, LSU is never going to beat the big boys on a consistent basis!

You keep digging it deeper an deeper. Quit before you remove all doubt. Without Aranda, O is already gone.

How do you know that the safety failed to do his job in knowing he needed to provide help over the top.

BenColeman accepts your challenge. I would say it's his alter, because no way in hell two people on this board can be this dumb, but I'm not sure if Ben is smart enough to make an alter.

He said no other coach.

And see how quickly that turns to “not every dc” by you.

Massive difference.

Aranda is not the only coach who woulda beat UCF. Not even close.

No he said without Aranda we lose.

He didn’t say no other coach could have won this games

I think His statement is that we aren’t getting a better DC than aranda and this game
Showed it.

Well maybe we won’t get one better than aranda but there are many DCs lesser than aranda who coulda coached us to a win over UCF.
