Interesting. Husky stadium and CenturyLink Field (Seahawks) are two loudest football stadiums and they’re in the Pacific Northwest. Not exactly a football hotbed.

Visited there for work for years and they really love their Hawks and Huskies. Their fans are like LSU and Tulane as far as hatred for WSU. It’s that bad.

I went to UW when LSU played there. Definitely loud. Maybe the roofs contribute, but it was very loud there.

I think It was designed with acoustics in mind, specifically to radiate sound back in.

One think you would realize about Tiger Stadoum unless you’ve been to a few others is how close to the field you are, even at the back of the bowl.

It’s very steep

Fake news.
Clemson's Earthquake Game was the '96 Peach Bowl vs. us:
I watched a 400lb Clemson fan wearing an orange tent bust his arse trying to double-fist a pair of large nachos and roll down 20+ steps. By the time he got good and wedged under the railing at the bottom, he was wearing a beautiful gold jersey.
We golf-clapped.

Wanna bet? These people up here are absolutely rabid about their football teams. Husky Stadium is definitely as loud as Tiger Stadium, and it sways a bit in the upper deck when they get rockin'.

CenturyLink has held and may still hold the world record for the loudest stadium.

In short, you don't know what you're talking about.

The roof a UW is the Only reason it is so loud. Century link was designed specifically to keep sound in. Both of those stadiums had a distinct advantage.

Ok a side note I really want to go to a game at Autzen.

Probably something to do with the stadium design.

I really wish espn or cbs would bring a decibel meter to every game. Put a lil thing in the corner of the screen every now and then to show how loud it is. My memory is faded, but I could swear they did that for the LSU-Georgia game in 2004. I think it got to around 107 decibel. I remember being a lil shocked cause I thought for sure it would be over 110 at Georgia with their crowd. Anyone remember that?

So many folks back in the homeland just don't understand that big-boy football is played in other parts of the country. I've seen so many misinformed statements on this forum about football played outside the SEC and yours is just another one.

UW is stacked this year and has one of the best coaches in the country. They'd do very well in the SEC. I'll be surprised of they don't make the playoffs. That stadium is ridiculously loud and a great place to watch a game.

And then there are the 12s....

I’ve only been to LSU and Clemson on that list. Clemson was very quiet when I went but I believe they were playing the citadel so that might have had something to do with it.
