Maybe he was also influenced by the multiple 300 yard passing games in the SEC to mitigate those 80 yard passing games?
He hit 300 yards twice. Against 6-7 Florida and against Tennessee. You think he had a good performance vs Tennessee?

Of course he does. It’s all about the stats baby.

We already know that will be Daniels. That’s why he recruited him to LSU. He didn’t recruit Nuss or Howard, the previous staff did.

He also recruited Shorts but did not start him on the OL ahead of guys who were already here. Cain did not start at RB ahead of guys who were already here. Lacey didn’t start at WR. Foucha didn’t start. That’s just a ridiculous take.

Think alot of people smoking some good stuff. Rarely does returning QB lose starting spot. Just be ready to be a great cheerleader for the starter Daniels.

Well according to the history of this board, it's always the second string QB.

I truly don’t understand why so many crap on JD and think he can’t progress in year 2 in the offense and more importantly having a whole year to learn the receivers and build chemistry. One could argue that was what led to JB’s huge jump in year 2. Leaning receivers and system in the fall alone is a tough task. His style is exactly what gives bama fits because you can’t cover his legs with those 5 star corners. That’s why we won the game. I can see us winning the west and possibly getting in playoffs next year with him and the entire offense back. Just my take I don’t post much.

I think the answer is Daniels. Experience.

It’s 100% Daniels. Nuss has not looked great, and Howard has yet to play a down. Daniels has been very solid and now has an entire season under his belt. He could easily be a Heisman candidate if we get the Alabama version next year.

Nuss if the offense is built around his arm.
