I have watched Bama for many years. One thing they do with regularity is headhunt quarterbacks.

I expect to see them take one or more cheap shots against JD in an effort to take him out.

It’ll be a late hit, roughing the passer, targeting, or whatever. I’ve seen it too many times.

Examples?? Not saying you’re wrong, but it’s football. I watched Ali Gaye spear a guy earlier this year.

I remember one of the bama players speared Jordan Jefferson when we were up in 2009.

Was thinking the same thing earlier today. Look what they did to Quinn Ewers first game of the year. They loose that game if they don’t cheap shot him.

Yep. There always seems to be a play with an “oops” hit or a pile on, just a half-second too late. That’s all intentional. Part of the Bama “mystique.”

Hit on Colt McCoy

Hit on Jordan Jefferson

The referee is looking straight at the hit on Jefferson and didn’t throw a flag.

Are y’all just naming players that got hurt against Bama? There’s no way people in here are actually saying that the hit on Colt McCoy was a cheap shot.

Are there specific plays that there were cheap shots? Genuine question.
