Not lsu, but at lsu. I think in 2009 I watched Brett Eibner for arkansas hit one over the scoreboard in left. I think it was still rising when it got past the warning track

I was at that game. Hardest hit baseball I've ever seen in person.

Bill Brasky hit one out to dead center that landed in Kim Mulkeys lap in the PMAC.
And then he went home and fricked all of our wives!!! To Bill Brasky!!

I was at the 91 game in Omaha when mouton hit the blast off John Burke. That ball was absolutely destroyed. Hit the light tower about 70 feet behind the 420 foot 20 foot high cf fence.

That was definitely a shot, but the one he hit off of Pete Montrenes later in that game went even further.
1:35 mark.

I saw Joey hit one dead center over the 405 sign as it was still going up.

2nd longest ball I have ever seen hit behind Scott Hodges against the Reading Phillies when he played for Harrisburg.

Harrisburg had Grady Sizemore, Brandon Phillips, and Cliff Lee all on the same team.

That team had some studs. Best middle infield in LSU History IMO with Fontenot and Theriot. Great article on them. LINK

Hawp was a damn good first baseman. Dude could swing it as well.

Okay I feel bad that I can only identify this guys in this way but….
Who was the black guy we had on one of those early/mid 200’s teams that weren’t that good, maybe a Smoke Laval team?

I just remember the dude hit absolute missiles but didn’t hit for a high average, he was leading the nation in home runs for awhile. He was the best player on a not so great team.

Jesus that hasn’t landed. I miss those pings from 90s and early 2000s.

He hit a couple in the '86 CWS against Miami that went deep into the night. No doubters from contact. I always wondered how far those went.

Agree with this. Wilkerson crushed it. He was from Kentucky and had the nickname the Bluegrass Bada$$. Always thought that was a good nickname.
