You know if a SC fan didn't come up with that name then they missed a good opportunity on TD

It's obvious some of y'all missed the point.

This guy went on like he hit a walk off to win the game, series, championship

in.the.bottom.of.the.third.

against a team that has been absolutely delivering body shots from the plate the last 2 games. Celebrate, no doubt, but there's a ton of baseball to be played left in the game.

Watch it again

Again, he thought he drove the nail in the coffin, twice; and this team came back…. Probably our best game of resilience this year, and as Coach JJ said, it was our best game…I have to agree, even with Messina going off like he did..More respect to our guys!!

where was the ump when they normally tell the player to "move to your dugout and celebrate"? They give them a second or two but help them move to dugout. He did a lot of celebration so glad he struck out on his next at bat.

I wouldn't mind him joining the tigers next year, playing catcher and batting in the 4 hole.

What's the difference between him celebrating with his team and LSU doing the arms folded look at me celebration with their team? Or with Bear standing in the box watching his homerun? I take no offense to what Messina did.

Baseball is becoming performance art more and more. The whole “just let them have fun” thought process is reducing sportsmanship in the game.

I mean, if you hit a 440 foot grand slam then go ahead, do your bat flip, and pose for your team after you touch home plate.

He didn’t cuss out the pitcher like Jared Jones did against UK, or flip off the crowd like Tennessee likes to do. Nothing wrong with what Messina did. If you don’t want him doing that then don’t serve up a letter high fastball to the hottest hitter in the country.

I agree. SC came in the tourney on the bubble and won their 1st 2 games like us to secure their place in the regional much like us. In 3 games, dude has 4 bombs and already set the SECT RBI record with 14. In 3 games. That's absurd. Yeah, he's kind of a douche, but so are a lot of baseball players. I actually really enjoyed his interview after they beat Arkansas Wednesday when he hit 2 bombs. He came off as really likable. Let his emotions get the best of him a bit yesterday, but he's a competitor, so I'll give him a pass. Jared Jones stood in the box and turned around and beat his chest after his solo bomb yesterday. We'd hate him if he played for anybody else.

I was at the Saturday A&M game when we had the bases loaded and Travinski coming up to bat with two outs I think it may have been in the 6th or 7th. When the guy before him got put on and his walk up music started, he stared into the crowd with his head up and bouncing like he was feeling it. The crowd was getting wild because of his confidence and the huge spot. He proceeded to groundout to short lol. We do everything that we complain about the other teams doing

I like the celebrations.

Some can go to far, but when they take the fun out of the game it gets ridiculous.

Dude hit an grand slam and would probably beat you to a pulp if he wanted to. I’d say you come off as much more of a bitch here

Milazzo was pretty heavy with the gamesmanship last night, and it paid off every time. You can get in the other team’s head without being a demonstrative jackass. That applies to LSU players, as well.

Did you not read Jones' lips after he got in the dugout following his homerun? "Get out of here with that weak arse shite."

I like all the emotions, trash talking, etc. in college baseball. Most of those guys won't ever see a MLB field, so let them have fun and enjoy the moments.
