So naturally LSU sues the SEC on the basis of the NCAA ruling, to allow players to play. I think LSU was the only school to sue their conference
LSU did not sue the SEC. Players sued the NCAA for their eligibility and later amended the suit to include the SEC. The SEC, however, has sued LSU. LSU has only defended itself in court in the SEC suit filed in Federal Court in Alabama.

Most likely the real problem. Little man syndrome.

LSU should really consider a countersuit and require Sankey to resign if they want the lawsuit against the SEC dropped.

Sankey stays on his knees for the SEC office in Birmingham, and has been part of the LSU Hate Club since the 2016 fiasco with LSU and changing locations for the Florida game.

Murrill showing that LSU will not be bullied into submission over being innocent.

I am actually ready for LSU to leave. The Damage this gives to the league in enormous. No Bama/LSU game and the ratings. That one game alone will do heavy damage to the league.

When LSU is gone, look for Florida to start looking and maybe even A&M.

Texas themselves have no major connection to the SEC and might want to sneak out before the house falls.

ESPN will absolutely renegotiate and the current remaining big teams of Bama. GA and Texas will begin to bully the other teams for what they want.

LSU could go to any other conference in a second or go Independent.

SEC has grown too big to have an asshat like Sankey in charge and the boat is starting to take on water.

Oh and Bama, they will learn to love the regular team treatment like getting screws by a PI "miss call".

They could hang around in a conference where they beat everyone but GA for the next decade and their next big game will be Auburn followed by MO (if they don't bail after LSU is gone."

My goodness. Some of you live in an absolute make believe world.

Tate amd Woody would have Kiffin and Wade suspended

Kiffin and Wade would not be at LSU if Tate and Woody were still around. LSU would still have Brian Kellly and Matt McMahon. And they would think they were doing awesome jobs.

I'm sure it was a Siri conversion, but you may wish to edit deformation to defamation so you don't look like a goose.

It is called a facts world - Big 10 would be interested and we would beat all the other schools out of the opportunity.

• LSU is a premier brand in college football with a massive, passionate fan base and a history of competing for national championships.
• As a top-tier television property, LSU would drive substantial value to the Big Ten's media network deals and marquee matchups.
• Adding LSU would give the Big Ten a direct recruiting and brand presence in Louisiana and the heart of SEC country.

Conservative estimates indicate that LSU football alone accounts for roughly 5% to 8% of the SEC’s premium media footprint. Losing them could wipe out an estimated $30 million to $60 million annually in premium broadcast valuation when contracts are eventually renegotiated or adjusted for inventory loss.

This pushes ESPN to renegotiate and all teams take a hit. This will push Bama/GA/Texas to demand a bigger chunk of the money and forces the smaller schools to take less, or they walk.

Sankey's idiocy is the first step in the collapse of the SEC and a Super League supported by venture capitalist will be there to pick up the pieces.
