Stepping away from the “can we quantify how hot she is” debate, I am intrigued that NIL and social media marketing allow for sports stars / celebrities like our LSU athletes to make a living NOW. Don’t forget, first round picks don’t always stick in the WNBA and their salaries are comparatively small in any event. Roger Federer gets paid crazy bank to be photographed with a Rolex watch on his wrist for an ad in a magazine. I truly hope Liivy majors in marketing and launches her own brand of (whatever she wants). I know super-models get paid too but would be more fun if she sold more than clicks. I mean, there is no such thing as a professional gymnast, right?

I maybe 61 but I have to laugh at all of this. If she makes millions off her looks so what? This is what makes this the greatest country in the world. Of course she wouldn't have gotten a lot of this if she wasn't attractive but she seems to be sharp and aware of what she is doing. And after she graduates she will have all the financing in the world to continue in the marketing world in some capacity as she doesn't seem to fall into the dumb blonde category. And the LSU exposure to boot!?

But you are complaining. Yes she has these deals because she is a athlete who happens be drop dead gorgeous. Yes she has done a lot to deserve the money. She advertises and is a spokesperson for these different brands that give her the money. How is she any different than Taylor Swift pushing capital one ads? How about Brie Larson pushing Nissan autos in commercials?

Straight commie talk there. A corporate brand wants to give her money for promoting. She didn’t steal, she didn’t inherit it, she didn’t exploit a loophole, she didn’t lobby, she didn’t rely on the welfare of others. Nah. She is using her talent to make money in an honest way. She is a role model for many girls. Would you rather her to not take advantage of her situation? I would guess she is a savvy business person. She at least is smart enough to get good business advice. She will be selling clothes and makeup for years. How much do you make?
