I’d love to play notre dame big 10 acc big 12 etc teams in football every year seems like a no brainer now that we know there is a sec bias to keep up from contention nationally.

If we did that, there would be a run of teams (especially ND) refusing to play us for "moral reasons." They'd really be refusing to play us for fear of losing, but they'll spin it as not wanting to play against "cheaters."
Leaving the SEC, while satisfying, would be extremely tough to put together a decent schedule.
