the soccer players got clearance from SEC office to play
it was pros involved with WNBA NBA NFL and MLB
so technically the softball eligible players could come back

I understand what you are referring to. But pretending that being compensated for mini camp isn't an actual pro contract is laughable.

That doesn’t explain the nearly 100 basketball players who played professional ball for years and are now returning to play in college.

Going through the draft process was also a red line.
Cole Hutson from Texas did just that, and is rostered.

Extremely simplistic way to look at it. If you dig even an inch into that that can be torn apart. They can’t even tell us what makes a pro contract. There’s too many holes to even count.
