Passing game will click more, opening up runs early rather than later.

Tommy Moffitt team dominates fourth quarter.

Louisiana teams simply do not lose championship games (Saints, LSU). January 9th will be no different

Miles did not play to win the first game; he played not to lose, and it worked. Saban threw everything at us, and it did not work. Now Miles will bring the mad hat, play to win, and show $aban how it is done.

This! We played very conservative on November 5th while Saban did things like the Maze pass and keeping Maze on the field when he was injured. I also think we improved against stiffer competition after November 5th and Bama seemed to go backwards agains lesser competition.

I've never read such misinformed fans. LSU does not have more depth. Your defense is not better. You do not have more offensive weapons. What you have is a lot better punter, a FG kicker that doesn't miss, a coach that keeps it within the team's ability, and a very opportunistic defense. But unless JJ all of a sudden finds a passing game I don't see you moving the ball much. Bama has a lot better QB and a slightly better defense. The keys to the game: JJ passing and LSU pressuring AJ. LSU does both then you win. Just one and its a coin toss. Neither and you lose. IMO, its that simple.

Most delusional post in this thread, I smell fear.

Every advantage goes to LSU in the "rematch." If you don't believe it, you will just have to witness it for yourself. McCarron will need therapy following this one.

We are a better football team.

This!! They have one star, the Tigers have a bunch and can score in so many more ways. And just for good measure, this is the most focused LSU team I have ever seen and I believe they will have a major chip on their shoulder and don't want to just beat Bama but dominate them. Richardson is going to be in for a very long and painful day.

Obviously the thing that we do much better is special teams while we are a wash in offens in defense with us probably being a bit better offensively and them being a bit better defensively, but even that isn't for sure.

Really the only sure deal is our special teams is better. No doubt.

Keep reading the stats and believing the hype around Bama and Saban. Stats and hype won't make a single play for Bama in this game. It's gonna be a long painful day for you and the Bama faithful on the 9th.

-we have a better defense
-we have high school:college level special team differential
-our offense does not rest on 1 player's shoulders
-we're in the dome
-our coach is better than theirs at big games/tine to prepare
-our oline is better
-our heisman candidate is better
-our receivers are better
-our punter has swag
-lee will not get in to throw picks
-they still won't be able to stop the option.
-Eric Reid will be BCSNCG MVP. and a big reason we successfully shut down Richardson.
-we aren't in Tuscaloosa this time and will have the advantage
-9-6
-the world wants to see bama fans cry again

I know Bama's bench is loaded with high school talent but in terms of who has played significant minutes over the course of the year, LSU is much deeper.

Your defense is not better

They were better on 11/5.

You do not have more offensive weapons

Bama has one.

Bama has a lot better QB

While it is a bit of a cripple fight, senior leadership tilts this to LSU again.

a slightly better defense.

Conditioning!!! We use more players on the D-Line, and Bama will get tired in the 2nd half. They were tired the last time in the 4th qrt and OT. The temps were much cooler in Bama than it will be in the Dome. Depth will be crucial and we simply have better depth. Saban ran into this problem against Oklahoma back in 2003. The "late" Marquise Hill went out with cramps, and he played little used Melvin Oliver. All of a sudden, Oklahoma found an offense in the 4th. Saban WILL make this mistake again, and the Tigers will be holding the Crystal Ball again!!!!!

Nick Saban has an NFL mentality he plays percentages just like he kept doing even though he did not have a dependable kicker he kept playing for FGs, no matter how far they had to kick. That spelled defeat. The one time he played to win he lost that play/call Reid took it away from him. The one player he had that could have won the game for him only touched the ball 3 times in the 3rd Quarter a team tends to start to take over conditioning type game and he would not/did not give the ball to TR when he should have.

By the time the 4th Quarter came his Team was tired they where playing slower even though TR was rested for the 4th their OL was tired and the Defense had slowed down and LSU was a step or 2 faster. Wittness the end run by Mike Ford in OT he barely stepped on the white line but still could have scored no one laid a hand on him when he crossed the Goalline.

I believe that will happen sooner than it did then, LSU will start to take over in the mid 2nd Quarter just like they did with Arkansas and Georgia. The 2nd Half will belong to LSU and pitty on them if LSU wins the toss because LSU will have the ball to start the 2nd half. I just hope LSU does not come out slow it will make it closer at the end maybe 7 points closer. Still want be enough I have it LSU 31 Bama 21 It could be worse the only 2 teams who put 21 and more where Oregon 27 and West Virginia 21 and Bama does not have an Offense the likes of either and the other that had 17 was Arkansas and Wilson >>>>> McCarron plus they do not have a kicker with confidence with the game on the line so....

So I say Game, set, match, LSU will win!
