Meyer? Smith, Tebow, Cam?
Fisher? Ponder, Winston? partial credit for Jamarcus and Flynn?
Richt? Stafford, Green, Shockley, Murray Carter have to be between 11 years?
Pete Carrol at USC? Leinart, Palmer, Sanchez, Cassell?
Saban? Jamarcus, Flynn, McElroy, McCarron?

And I had to look this last one up, but Joe Tiller put Brees and Orton in the league.

Georgia's QB play was head and shoulders better than LSU's. It's not even really close.

You're comparing LSU to these other schools, so why is "great" the only measuring stick? LSU has been in the bottom third of the conference in QB play for the last decade.

Muschamp let 2 NFL QBs transfer in consecutive season while his offense at Florida went into a dumpster fire.

Just off the top of my head:

Oklahoma
Michigan State
Florida State
Georgia
Alabama
Arkansas
USC
Oregon
West Virginia
Ohio State
Baylor
Clemson
Virginia Tech
Stanford
Notre Dame

Outside of 2013 (Mett's QBR was 4th in the country), we have only had one season that it wasn't outside the top 60 in the nation, and that was JJ in 2009 at 41. Even Flynn was 62 in '07.

No, it hasn't been good.

Thanks for proving my point. You just named 3 of the best coaches in cfb.
Also our qb play in 2004 wasnt good.

I know I could look this up but I'm too lazy. The star rating when they were recruits would be interesting on this list.

Were Sheppard and Harris 5 stars?

No its not.
2006 jruss
2007 flynn
2009 jj top 5 sec in qb rating 9th most passing tds in lsu history
2011- 2 qbs went 20 tds 5 ints and both qbs over 138 qb rating
2013 mett.

Anyone saying these years werent decent are biased.

Also our style of play doesnt lend itself to totals.
We dont run a hunh so it hurts our totals.

For example in 2013 we were 11th in the country in offensive yards per play yet we were 105th in plays ran ecause we dont run a hunh. Thats hurts our totals.

The sad reality is - we got more out of transfers than we did from almost any homegrown QB. RP is not all Miles' fault, but that's a horrible, horrible batting average. Just 1 or 2 more "hits" in there, Miles wins at least 1 more championship and still has his job.

If you don't think that Lee should have been playing in front of Jefferson you were not paying attention

Lee was screwed first by playing so early and secondly by being punished for making mistakes as a result.

Actually that list was very revealing. It is far worse than I thought it was.
It shows Miles and his OC's as being totally incompetent for the most important position on the field.
Actually two years where we didn't have a single QB enroll for the fall. Two years where the signees never saw the field.
Most of those guys should have signed with McNeese or East BF Dakota.
Thank goodness Elmer Fudd is gone.

Wow Lee...Nice handle. It threw us all off. I would have expected you to use "General Lee" or something of that nature.

Yes, because you're such an expert.
However I am sure you know shite. The question is whether you can distinguish it from Shinola.

Put yourself in their shoes. No way I would have signed to play for LSU when Miles was head coach. Maybe before Jimbo Fisher left, but certainly not after. I may have at another position, but QB and Wide Receiver, hell know.
