This didn't seem to be that big a deal at the time, but LSU sure could use him now.

Not really. Our defense has been lights out even without those players.

We've struggled because of our offense. While Blue is hurt, LSU has enough depth to have that not matter.

OL has lost one player, and while key, it's been the refusal of the coaches to make certain personnel changes/shifts that are causing this issue to exist.

Randle was a big loss, but people are really overselling the effect. It can be schemed around not having a big WR, but LSU isn't doing that.

Other than that, Dural is a loss, but LSU is more talented than every team they'll play outside of Bama. There is no reason for the offensive struggles to be this bad.

faulk is a big loss

i'll say TM7 was a big loss, but we had no guarantee of his game changing plays

blue impressed me, but we have 800 RBs

not to mention, he wouldn't have been in the same positioning to make those plays. he'd be in more coverage, leaving him less ability to roam and make those plays that he was able to in the nickel package.

oh if he's playing as a true CB on the outside he's going to basically be making big plays as a returner only

We aren't a team that should need rebuilding, we're a team that should be reloading.

not to say we wouldn't put in packages to highlight his abilities, but it certainly wasn't going to be as prolific as it was last year.

you're correct.

yeah our recruiting and our depth are supposed to be our selling point. take losing blue...you can't say we have 6 great RBs and then say we're fricked when the "starter" gets hurt

on defense we are while we have some weaknesses in the secondary we are a team who is reloading on Defense.

but I don't think our offense ever had it we got spoiled by their success last year but our offense was average last year we just had such dominate play up front we could just pound on every team we played. I guess we just didn't have much depth on the line, or maybe because our o-line coach is also the o coordinator he is getting overwhelmed with all the adjustments he has to make

lonergan and williford were hurt but played again. Dworaczyk calf problem, muncie illness. Even mingo has been hurt. Copeland got hurt last week. Ware was hindered at beginning of season and in camp.

Not true at all. 2009 LSU had number 1 class while bama, UF, and UGA were in the top 6. 2010, UF, BAMA, Auburn had higher ranked class than LSU. 2011 Bama, Auburn, UGA had higher ranked class than lsu. 2012 Alabama, UF, UGA had higher ranked classes and aTm was one spot behind LSU. So yeah i would say auburn, uf, bama, and uga have talent, at least the experts seem to think so. And could be argued that uf, bama and uga are more talented than LSU.

Single biggest loss of the season. Started the domino effect of the OL shuffle, which lead to less pass pro, which led to Mett less confident, which leads to holding the ball too long, which leads to increased blitzing and packing the box because of the shaky QB + drops.

It's all connected and there really isn't shite LSU can do about it aside from just get the players on the field to make the easy plays and be disciplined enough to not get 100 yds in penalties every game.

The reload went rebuild when the injuries came.

Didn't this guy go to some JUCO in Ms and then drop out of that?
