What difference does it make in this case? Jeremy Hill KNEW that he had to stay out of trouble or violate the terms of his probation.
He choose not to. Now he should be held accountable for his poor decision.

Do you know how many games Hill will miss??

Im not sure what you are comparing. He was suspended.

Not sure of the details of Tolliver. Was he involved in stand up fight or something like what Hill did?

I think the offense should warrant a 1 game suspension but due to it being Hill who is already on probation and should know better and stay out of trouble as a whole. I would make it 3 games. Assuming the whole probabtion issue gets cleared up.

Blame the victim.

Kind of amazing so many people who weren't there hate the victim (JJ's case and Hills) and weren't there.

Hill fricked up, will pay with a slight slap on the wrist.

Overly righteous bullcrap. Theres two sides to every story and theres a 30 second clip. We know from the case that the guy had previously taunted Hill in the bar. We know that theres a lot of people looking to punch the guy and no one to defend him.

Hill should have walked away. Just because Hill should have walked away doesnt mean this guy was handing out Bible tracts.

I think we can all agree that Hill shouldn't have done that.

If I am Les I am going to suspend him for 3 games and have him back strategically for the start of SEC play.

....and you know he will have fresh legs and be healthy so that's a positive if you want one.

And for the love of frick! Can LSU start a class teaching these idiots how to take a video? It's not that hard. Maybe start with how to turn the phone then go into how you want to stop once an LSU football player enters the scene.

Makes zero sense..

Walking away means WALKING AWAY.. There is no 2,3,4,5 etc..

This certaily didnt look like self defense or even a guy in his face talking shite. He attacked a helpless person.

Man, getting caught letting a freshmen chick give you a bj WHILE you're in high school? That's your definition of trouble?

When I was an upperclassman in high school, we used to LIVE for the first day of school to check on the new menu on the buffet line that were freshmen chicks.

Looks like the guy was already in a fight. Hill runs in front of him and punches him. Main sucker punch was the second guy. The "decking him from behind" reports were a big over exageration.

Any idea what happened to the second guy? Same charge?

I think that would be a fair punishment. I certainly dont belive being a dumbass warrants a season long suspension.

It's a cheap shot. Definitely not as bad as I expected and I don't think the "high-fiving" was as obnoxious as some are making out. The other two guys are celebrating way more.

But in the end it's college kids in a bar fight. Nobody was seriously injured. Nobody can really confirm what happened prior to this video to instigate the whole thing. Take a couple game suspension, and move on with your lives.

I think the trouble is KNOWING you are on thin ice already and anything you do could land you in jail. The definition of "trouble" was defined by a court judge in that case.

Yea it was def more the second puncher and the guy to the right of Hill celebrating. Hill was just there and laughed about it. That part was blown out of proportion.
