I think Joe was being facetious and obviously hyperbolic. It was part of his tribute to what CEO has meant to him personally and to his family, and to this LSU team. CEO knows he has to earn and re-earn the loyalty of this "maniacal" fanbase every game! Its week by week. And that's okay. He can handle that!

The school president vetoed the deal. That’s not DA’s fault, but this board and it’s lynch mob mentality stops at nothing to attack certain posters while simultaneously performing oral soothing on others who do nothing but speak in vague generalities with qualifiers attached to those generalities.
