My uncle, Railler Wiltz, was a die hard LSU baseball fan and lived a long, prosperous life. He had so many stories of his days at the Box and trips to Omaha.

An excerpt from his obituary:

quote:

Outside of work, Railler had a passion for LSU baseball and proudly held season tickets and was a member of the Coaches Committee for many years. His enthusiasm for the sport led him on unforgettable trips to Omaha for the College World Series. His dedication to LSU baseball exemplified his love for the game and brought joy and countless moments shared with friends and family.

On behalf of my Uncle, Geaux Tigers!!!

Fellow railroad worker here as well. Glad to see he enjoyed his pension for a long time.

Perfect first name for our job btw.

I sat behind your Uncle at the old Alex Box and on the same row as him at the new Alex Box. He was a wonderful man and a great LSU baseball fan. Sorry for your loss and may he rest in peace.

If he was going during the Jack Lamabe and Jim Smith eras he truly was a lifelong fan.
