I hope we put up some good numbers on both sides of the ball.

Northwestern lost to an NAIA school in week 0. They are historically bad

Northwestern lost to Louisiana College…which is basically a high school team. Dropping 80 on them isn’t a big accomplishment

A couple of high school teams in Louisiana can beat NSU.

Northwestern may be the worst team at any level of college football.

Lost to an NAIA team

I would pull the starters early and let them rest up for the big game against Ole Miss. By early I mean as soon as we get up by multiple scores. Why run up the score on an in-state team if we don’t have to.

And... LSU is a 35 point favorite Sat and i do think they'll cover... Tech gonna be lucky to find the endzone at all.. Tech will be doing good to score more than 8 pts..

Well we beat them by 16 last year with no running game, no Oline and an injured QB and less talent on defense. And our backup QB looked good last week also. Add the chip on our shoulder we are playing with and I think we cover too as long as they aren't looking forward to OM game.

It’s fricking Northwestern State. They won 1 game in over 3 years. La Tech being able to score 80 on them is moot.

I'm just happy to be talking about an actual game as it's been a moot topic of late.

Baker is a better QB than ya'll faced last year in Kukuk, sorry if I misspelled. Kukuk is a running QB, not a good passer. Our best offensive weapon is Finley at TE, our best position group is the linebackers. Saying that, our LBers are more built for speed and athleticism, not necessarily taking on blocks in the box. Safeties are a concern iirc we lost 2 starters this season to NIL. D is really good at producing turnovers, but also really good at dropping 8 in coverage and somehow someway leaving 2 receivers wide open with nobody within 10 years of both of them, seems crazy, but La Tech can do it. The players really do play hard for Cumbie, and even if being blown out will play hard till the game is over.
