Les says something like that every year, it's nonsense. If he hasn't used Shep in the wildcat over the past 3 years when we've had horrible QB play, he sure isn't going to do it now.

My view on Shep is that he's very fast and if you give him a nice crease, he can pop thru and maybe get big yardage. But he drops balls, goes down too easy, but the biggest thing goes back to very early in his freshman year - he fumbled a couple times. I think Miles lost confidence in getting him the ball consistently after that.

Shepp was over hyped to start with. So far he has been a bust. I hope he has a blow out season but we will have to wait & see.

FWIW ... last year he said JJ was poised for "big things."

When I opened this thread this morning, this is the first thought that came to my mind.

No shite Sherlock. Did you think the whole show is just candid conversation?

Tickets were from a friend, so its the first and last time I'll waste the time going. So my assumption was yes, it would be something original. Especially since the answer that lead to the Vandy joke came from a submitted question from a fan.

At least Johnny Jones was entertaining and worth listening to. Sorry we missed Coach Caldwell, but I'd guess her torn achilles was scripted as well.

Amen!!!

Like the man as a HC or not, but he's winning games for LSU at a higher rate than we have EVER seen before.

And he's doing it at a time in the SEC when the SEC is the very best college football has to offer.

I'm just riding the LSU football high and hoping it never ends!!

whats so outlandish about that statement? If Mett is as advertised and the RBs we have returning.....i don't see how its so crazy to think that Shep could have a great year.

At the end of next season we can have an interesting debate on which five/ four star was a bigger disappointment: Shep or Keiland Williams.
Seems to me KW had more hype and ended with good YPC, despite playing back up/ splitting time much of his career.

He is the REAL DEAL. Trust me. LSU should have no prob scoring at least 40 on EVERY team this year. [excluding Bama]

LSU makes a poor HC hire around 2020 or so, goes back to traditional 65% win rate instead of Miles 80% and the CLM_Bleauxs crowd still doesn't get it? This will never change.
