Some are so silly bout this stuff.

What did we expect the man to say bout a SR R who ranked second on the team with four receiving touchdowns, third on the team with 190 receiving yards and fourth with 14 receptions after missing the 1st 3 games of the season?

Add in the fact we have a QB expected to be able to throw the ball better and why shouldn't we all expect a big year from RS?

Some need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Holy shite. This post right here sums up what most RANTARDS are like. You are a moron. You are calling out a man with an economics degree from Michigan, while misspelling words and butchering the English Language. Congrats you just lowered the Rants collective Iq, about 30 points.

I don't believe, someone as ignorant as you,has a degree in anything. Except maybe in being a fat arse. Also the reason I posted something about that poster was because he was claiming that Miles speaks in gibberish while his post was barely coherent gibberish. Also I just want to let you know that Les Miles is the best coach LSU has ever had. He has forgot more about football than you will eve know. I'm sure it makes you feel better about yourself to talk shite about Miles every chance you get.

That was a long time ago and with different coaching staff. Crowtons first year was an anomaly. I think Miles is just blowing smoke to Houston people who have ain interest in seeing Shep succeed, he has been misused his entire career.

2011 ranks top 5 in passing and rushing Tds. 4/5 of the top 5 are Miles coached teams. So this " Miles sucks at offense" is dumb

I also remember Les praised JJ and saying how good he looked the past 3 years when I physically watched him look like chit in every spring game followed by every regular season game.

Shepperd might catch 20 passes

I don't agree that Shep "has looked like chit". He may not have lived up to expectations but is coming along and should contribute this season.

Shep has struggled as WR.

He is pretty damn good running the ball though.

I hope not, he is a heck of an athlete but his future is not at QB. Just because he was able to use his athletic skills to dominate the high school ranks does not mean it would work in college. I watched him in high school and never believed he would play QB in college or NFL.

he was making the comparison. A lot of fans think Shep has looked like chit also. I dont see it that way at all. He is learning a new position and he is just not a natural WR. He is steadily improving and could be a solid player this season. He is also pretty good at the occasional end around.

not really. His stats look good, but most of his yards came off of end arounds. He has some strait line speed, but not much moves and if he gets touched he's going down.

Every one, huh.

It's not really surprising to me to see/hear a coach speak well of his team/players when the teams and players efforts have resulted in the HC winning 80%+ of his games while playing in the best college football conference in the world.
