That azzhole should be glad Miles didn't punch him in the face. I would have. jeez, leave the man alone during dinner!!!
Get over yourself & realize he's probably trying to get some very talented players to come to LSU.

Since when is Miles "insulating" himself? Care to site an example? And please explain to me who exactly is "protecting him". I mean how was the plan to insulate & protect Miles put together??? Did the AD or chancellor do it? Is it a media cover-up? Really, please do enlighten us who live in reality & do not have the benefit of your fantasies.

My god, you're not just ignorant about football, you're all around ignorant.

I am sure Miles would love it if everyone got subjected to the same asinine interruptions in their life.

This thread reminds me of a much more pathetic version of the Peyton Manning commercials. Cut that Meat!

Accountant at dinner
"Hey Bill, what the f happened to those deductions last year? I'm paying too much and we've got to get this fixed. What is that you're eating?"

BTW, this is what happens when you coach at LSU. You make big bucks but also have to put up with passionate fans.

yeah...you can't spell passionate without the word 'arse.' this could have happened but it is probably just someones wishful thinking.

If a person is a ticket holder or has bought any LSU apparel or anything else licensed by LSU...I think they have a right to ask (politely) about the state of the program since they've invested in it. If the guy was a total arse about it...then Les had the right to get upset.

My question would have been simpler: Coach are we gonna have our defensive issues resolved before the bowl game? He's already said the DC would come later...I don't know when this guy asked him the question...it may have been a timing thing.

All that does is put you in the same boat as millions of other LSU fans. Les doesn't owe anyone anything. If he is having dinner, respect his privacy and let him eat. He is no different than anyone else having dinner out. Would you go ask the governor a stupid question when you see him out having dinner.....

I broke into Les Miles' house last night, and he wouldn't answer ANY of my questions. I make semi-annual TAF donations, and I'm entitled to ask (and have answered on the spot) questions regarding LSU football!!

funny -- and since all the SEC teams get equal tv money -- you know that money comes from the fans .

Hire a DC and you could have gotten away with just signing an autograph

Interrupting a stranger in the middle of his dinner based on the fact you bought an LSU tshirt at Wal-Mart is never considered polite.

I just hope Miles can take the heat for the next 10 months or so, 'cause it's coming.

He's willing to put Jarrett Lee through much, much worse, so he damn well better be able and willing to take the heat.

Breaking into someone's house is criminal. Disrupting their lunch is annoying...apples to oranges.

OK guys I get your point...I'm just saying the guy can ask the question...I never said Les had to answer. You assume too much.

It wasn't annoying to Les when the ladies asked per the Dandy Don story he put up...so apparently the guy who asked Miles the question was an arse about it....see my first post.

It's the price you pay being a high profile SEC football coach. More money, more problems. If he was coaching pop warner he wouldn't have any issues.

I appreciate that is what you think. However, it is so fundamentally wrong that you might want to rethink.
