I saw Les Miles in Ruth's on Fulton St last night. I assume he is in town for the high school games. Some dude had the nerve to ask about the new DC and you could tell Miles was not pleased.

aww, got his feelings hurt? he SHOULD be asked the tough questions because the BR media is afraid to.

+1

However, that's not the proper setting IMO.

Just a concerned Tiger fan. I probably would not have gone there, but to each his own. As long as he wasn't yelling/berating him.

BTW, this is what happens when you coach at LSU. You make big bucks but also have to put up with passionate fans.

CTexTiger - You wrote exactly what I was about to say. I just hope Miles can take the heat for the next 10 months or so, 'cause it's coming.

That was me. I felt bad afterwards but we saw each other later at the casino and played a few hands of poker.

It must be annoying to sit on a fat wallet like his, constantly leaning to one side. shite he's probably got a permanent indention in his cheek from sitting on that bad boy.

Horndog, are you sure it wasn't Tubberville that you played poker with. I mean after all, he's the original riverboat gambler.

I agree, but if Miles keeps insulating himself and is always protected from the tough questions because he did a totally shitty job this season, and doesn't want to talk about it, than there may never be a proper setting.

Casino = The Devils house

Yeah yeah, I love to watch it on t.v. so I'm guilty.

are you telling me les miles was eating steak before he hired a defensive coord?

i will not stand for this

fire him. we can hire jack del rio, bill cower or john gruden. they would all love to coach and LSU and would drop everything to do it

sincerely,
the rant

I agree with 'Shoe. He should be asked. He has 3.5 million reasons he should have to answer a fair question.

What it boils down to is him having a tough time firing his drinking buddies,IMO. I really hope he isn't giving them a shot to prove themselves so he can name one of them DC after the Peach bowl.

I always feel that much worse about our fanbase when I hear of people doing this. If the man is out having dinner, especially with his family, is it really that important that bubba redneck go ask him about his qb or dc?

What is this stuff about Miles not being asked tough questions? Do we need an update every day from the media and him about how bad the season was. Read the rant if you want the scoop of the day. Miles will make a move when the time is right.

Are you actually saying that Les should hold an impromptu Q and A session wherever he is when he is approached by one of the millions of LSU fans in this state? Don't you think that might interfere with the rest of his job duties?

Did you pull this out of Maximus's arse or your own?

Signed,
Mike from Plaquemine who followed coach into the Ruth's while wearing torn jeans and his walmart LSU jersey.

It depends on the setting. If he is sitting down with either family or someone else.......then no. He shouldn't be bothered. I agree with that. If he is at the bar watching t.v. or drinking then yes, it's fair game IMO.

That was more of a hit against the media and the fact that they don't press harder to make Miles give a coherent response.

That one was fresh out of my own arse.
