Lah Tek is weak this year too.
I'll give him that but this year they are going to struggle. I say let Hightower shoot 30 times a game (see Chris Jackson) and let the fans come see her score 30+ a game to get ticket sales rollin'.

Just like a pro basketball player in the last year of a contract, that is what Tasmin is going through now with this being his senior year. If he averages 13 pts. and 8 boards with a few assists and steals per game he will get an NBA tryout and probably make a squad.
If he's first team SEC he might actually make a squad in the NBA but chances are he will play overseas and still be a millionaire in 4-5 years if he makes 200-250K per year. He is bigger this year so that will help his stock. Is Tasmin Mitchell good enough to play in the NBA? Yes. Will he? The jury is still out and I wouldn't put it past him because he has always had heart. He's the type that gets his points and rebounds but nobody notices because he does it so effortlessly. I like Tasmin. :bow:

I don't know what his worst record ever is as a head coach but this year will be rough. If they finish with a winning season, I will be shocked.
I agree. Sammy Martin. Oh yeah, this little dude is white which makes it even more impressive.

hail them Kings of the SEC WEST. Sure, Trent J. has them playing inspired ball but they haven't played on the road yet. They always say if you win every other game on the road and take care of business at home then you are an NCAA tourney team. We don't know how this team or coach will react in a hostile environment. Until then, we don't need to call this team a final 4 or final 8 team. They "look" like they could be a top 20 team right now but the book is still out. Remember that injuries played a big part of LSU's problems the last 2 years. This team has been virtually injury free so far. I did notice in the Advocate this morning that LSU is 2nd in the NCAA in defensive field goal percentage and first in rebound margin (+16). This has the potential to be a very good "team". Let's see how they do on the road in the coming weeks. Great start for the Tigers so far. :bow:

I'm sick of these few black and white analysts who say that it's a travesty that Gill was not hired at Auburn. He has a better record than Chiznik etc.... If I own a business and have to hire someone, I don't want other people or the government telling me that I "have" to interview this race or this person.... What a joke. What ever happened to freedom? Just because Gill wasn't hired by AU doesn't mean that AU is racist. It's aggravating to hear this crap.
