Unlike your head coach and team. Good luck playing in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

Hilarious. That is what I think about all of you that this Les's comments are normal. Please tell me if anyone on this board has ever heard a coach come out like he did against a recruit that didn't come their way? Before you answer, let me say this. If you think he was right in publicly saying what we all think, you are as classless as he. Let it flame, classless idiots.

” Kiel said over the weekend when asked about Miles’ comments. “I did pull out at the last minute. I still have all the respect for LSU. Their fans definitely understood. LSU is a great place, but it wasn’t the best fit for me. I’m a Midwest guy and I like to stay close.

Well I can't speak for everyone but the fans and the coaches didn't understand because this kid didn't even have the courtesy to even de-commit properly. He simply didn't show up. Not one phone call, email, letter via carrier pigeon to the coaches. NOTHING. So I highly doubt there was a lot of "understanding."

And I think it was more of mommy saying stay close to home.

That stupid kid cost us two good commitments. I long to see Kelly screaming in his ear.

I didn't know this until reading all the recent Kiel posts. If true then the kid probably gets menstrual cramps and does not have what it takes to lead a team like LSU.

Who in the world believes that? Miles was stupid to blast Kiel in public like that, but Kiel deserved it, and then some. He wanted to stay close to home, fine. But then he bitched out like a pussy, and didn't bother to tell the staff "hey, sorry you guys, ain't exactly makin it down there." He fricked us out of two recruits in the process.

Miles comments weren't even bad. Mountain out of a molehill.

No he didn't. LSU's football staff did.

I don't understand why everyone is upset with his withdrawal when we clearly pulled the early enrollment from the other recruit "at the last minute."

I also don't understand how someone can enroll early at a school without signing a commitment paper. It seems like any of those kids could come to school for a free semester and then not sign on National Signing Day. Do the colleges just basically give those first semesters away without any commitment?

Yes, he did. He cost us a QB and a good OL prospect.

Then you need to think about that a little longer. If it's at the last minute, fine.

Not calling, emailing, basically making any sort of an effort to let the coaching staff know that he was staying home instead of coming to LSU is foolish and juvenile.

"Coach, have you heard from Kiel?"
Sure haven't. He's supposed to be here today. Classes start on Tuesday.
"That's what I was saying. I haven't heard anything either."

Then they read online that he commits to ND. He was the #1 QB prospect in the country. And he acts like a scared kid. At least have the nuts to let the coaches know, that's what people are pissed about.

What do they know about college football? Hell, they don't even have themselves a "Verne Lundquist". Even CBS has a Verne.

Yep! The kid has alot of physical ability but by the way he conducted himself throughout his recruiting process, I have a hard time believing that a kid can stand up to the weekly pressure of an SEC pass rush or the scrutiny of the LSU fan base when he can't even stand up to his mommy when it comes to making one of the most important decision of his life to this point. For a QB, the ability to make smart decisions and lead is far more important than physical ability.

Kid is clueless.... The fans were all "cool with it" in that we all wish him the very worst!

People act like this is an isolated incident when it happens all the times and kids switch last minute with no warning. Kids have switched to LSU and LSU fans were fine but when I kid switches against LSU he is worst thing ever.
