What was the reason we couldn't win, with all that talent?
we needed a better coach

Would you take the 2016 roster or the 2019 roster?
the 2019 is largely made up by a hand delivered top 5 recruiting class that was created by miles and then O did an amazing job keeping them signed up.
are you under the impression that from here on we are going to have 2019 type talent?
miles was fired for losing 3 and 4 games every year with all that talent.
o loses to troy and Miss st and everyone blames talent. that 2017 was talented enough to beat both of those teams. you actually had O sycophants claiming troy was more talented than lsu

ARE YOU KIDDING?
Dude...we won the National Championship.
If you are going to b*tch about winning the title with a 12-2 record compared to winning it as a 13-1 or 14-0 team, I can’t do anything for you.
If you are going to tell me you would rather lose to teams like Tennessee or Auburn instead of Kentucky and Arkansas (and if we lost to Tennessee or Auburn, we wouldn’t have made it to the SECCG or the BCS title game), I can’t do anything for you.

good enough to not lose to troy and miss st and barely beat a shite arky team. I know nfl draft picks and all sec selections mean nothing compared lester earl posts.
its amazing how even shitty miles with worse rosters 2008,2009,2014, was able to not lose to a mid major but a
nfl drafted qb
all sec nfl rb
nfl te
2 nfl olinemen
and a defense littered with future nfl draft picks just wasn't talented enough to beat Troy and Miss St.

posting objective facts isn't defending. it's called reality. I didn't post any opinion about miles. are you ever going to learn the difference? miles' accomplishments isn't a defense. they are reality. im sorry reality bothers you. for some reason reality during miles' tenure upsets you.

Your inability to see the quality of player at LSU had declined is a lot like the coach you never what’re to fire

Less lost to Moo State in Tiger Stadium.
Less barely squeaked by Troy the two times LSU played them while he was Corch. 40-31 and 24-20.
Less lost to Arky 5 fricking times.
Less didn’t shite the bed in a Natty.
O >>>>>>>>>> Less.

That Florida game spoiled us. Riverboat gambler hit a heater that night and the better team lost. Was it sweet then, of course, but time prevailed in the end and found its balance.

We had a big half-time lead and he sat on the ball
The coach who was there before him would’ve done the exact same thing in that situation

great job making up a stance and attributing it to me.
show me where I said 2017 was as talented as the 2006-2011 teams.
my stance is 2017 had the talent needed to beat troy and miss st.

when they finished 11th in the country
and he also didn't have the most lopsided loss in the history of the lsu /msu series.

so he didn't lose those, right? cause that was my statement

arky isn't troy

O>>>>>>>>>> Less
Current O is better than latter miles.
O has to have more than 1 season with less than 3 or 4 losses to claim he had the better tenure. but hey it looks like he is on his way to doing just thats

No "we" didn't.
I never respected him from the first game against Tennessee. We had a big half-time lead and he sat on the ball until they caught, tied, then beat us.
With a couple minutes left, while tied, he killed the clock rather than go for the win. He wasted more talent than any other coach in LSU history.
He is now where he deserves to be.
He also recruited all that talent to LSU. While Les did have his fair share of stinkers, he also gave LSU their best decade in school history.

Do we really have to go through this? That wasn't his first game. And he brought all that talent.
By your standards, anytime LSU doesn't win a title from here on out will be a waste.

No shite!! I flew in from Abu Dhabi for that game. What a mess to sit on that lead. Killing the clock in the second quarter What an idiot

Love Les the man but Les the coach was out of his league.
Yes he won that game but look at the ones he lost with superior talent.
The man needed an offense and never found it but he is a good guy but just an average coach.
