Seems reasonable.

Les running Hester up the middle on 4th down 5 times actually shows how unimaginative he was/is. Don't give Les the credit on this. It all goes to Hester. He made a poor coach look good on that night.

Against Clemson, when a 4th and short wins the game, Les threw it. They called the perfect play - an easy pass in the flat - and Mett blew it.

If you give a mouse a piece of cheese for learning a maze, or flipping a switch, you control the actions of that mouse. Then when you don't give it that reward you confuse it and it doesn't know what to do.

Years of LSU playing Les Miles football and all Les knew was that maze. Every team knew how to deny him that cheddar and he ended up confused and not knowing what to do.

I imagine a lot of people lost respect for him after he frantically called for a time out after an interception

cool bruh. Good thing you only play once

The other 7 or 8 will catch up to you in time. Like the 2011 NCG. That would have been a hard game to win no matter what, but with a coach like Les, it was over before it started.

He ruined the history of that team and season single-handed.

Yeah, and he looked around like what?? Someone had to tell him the clock stopped on a change of possession.

its amazing how you label most of his big wins as lucky and not attributed to his coaching and every loss is a direct reflection of his coaching.

2007 LSU #1 in the country in 4th down conversion %, but yeah all luck

Leslie was .770 over 12 years. Must have done something right.

ARE YOU KIDDING?

Kentucky? this is not basketball. Unranked Arkansas at home.

Top that off with WV had to lose as a 35 point favorite in order for LSU to get in. Along with other teams winning or losing.

That was nothing special from a coaching stand-point.

Some great players made some great plays.

he literally had the most accomplished tenure in lsu history. could have a better x and o coach won more with the talent he had? I believe so but there is no proof that a better x and o coach would've gotten the talent that miles did. miles was a flawed coach that won at an elite level until the game changed and he refused to change with it and started losing 3-4 games every year.

its amazing watching you shite on a sec and national title season because you didn't agree with a coaches offensive philosophy of ball controlled offense.

Watching Les call it 5 times on 4th down was unbelievable and was exciting. There was not a single fan that didn’t jump with a smile each time. I remember “WoW” he called it & we got it! Geaux Tigers....L S U

top 5, top 10 finishes in lsu history
best ooc win % in sec history
best win % in lsu history

I swear some of you actually believe 2005-2016 wasn't an elite tenure

05 -11 was

When he stopped recruiting a full roster, the results followed. In 2012, Ole Miss has no business being on the field with LSU. We squeak out the win when OBJ bailed him out. After the game, that fricking idiot is in the locker room acting like he just won a championship. Complete and utter clown!

The state had just been hit by 2 huge hurricanes, the school was an evacuation shelter and the team barely had time to practice. Many players had families who lost everything.

So starting the next week and the rest of the season all of those problems went away? Hell NO!! They were good enough in the 1st half, but piss poor decisions by Les in the second half lost that game. PERIOD!

I will. That same guy shite the bed against KY and Arky in 2007.

Hey Rick. Its been awhile.

You are right I did not agree with Miles at all.

He was shite when it came to game plan, running the players into the ground and game management. He was very lucky to follow Saban. Otherwise, our experience with him would have been much worse.
