Fournette was a man amongst boys in college. He was legitimately great.

I guess you just deleted the games against Bama from your memory.

Yes, I was kind of surprised that he sucked in the NFL. Derrick Henry is wayyy better than him.

I'll take him with 0 pro bowls as long as he got the SB ring.......SB rings are the end game.

Where does he rank among LSU RBs in the NFL for alltime rushing yards? #2 behind Jim Taylor?

No threat of a passing QB versus a D riddled with NFL talent

It’s a team game

That would be when he was playing against other men, without the benefit of men blocking for him.

He was great, but every single person with eyeballs watching those games knew he was getting the ball. I don’t care if he was the love child of Jim Brown and Barry Sanders. Those Bama teams were built to stop the run and stocked with NFL talent. Fournette didn’t have a chance.

Guys like Henry & Barkley are a tad more biologically gifted, but not by much. The difference is they actually GAF and have invested in themselves from the jump.

Barkley is an exceptional talent, but Henry is 1 of 1. There just aren’t other humans built like him.

6’4 240 with power and top end speed. Legit unicorn.

Henry is a freak whose athleticism has trended up since college, even.

I need to find the article from Fournette’s combine, and the superlatives he garnered with his 40 time at his weight. He had no business being 240 but I believe it was one of the best weight-adjusted 40 times ever by a RB, if not the best.

He’s not Henry but teams would be fighting over him if he was 225 and had a work ethic like Henry

He made some poor decisions early in his career that probably affected his viability as an asset and shortened his career. You can’t be arguing with the front office when you’re always hurt at that position.

Who cares about pro bowls. Especially these days. Mac Jones was a pro bowler. No one cares

Playoff Lenny was a huge part of the Bucs Super Bowl run and that’s all that matters I’m sure

Fournette had a great sophomore year, but this is ridiculous. 3800 yards and 40 TD’s as a 3 year starter isn’t close to being one of the GOAT college RB’s

Majority of the college running backs you would consider one of the greatest would have had better stats under les miles system. PERIOD

I think he was weighed down by his early adoption of the white supremacy hand gesture.

Overcoming the challenges he faced because of that makes his career pretty remarkable, imo…

I'd argue that he is more physically gifted than Henry as it comes to an NFL RB, but Henry has elite work ethic and knows how to set guys up. LF could be an all time great if he wanted to, but he was content with bulling people over. Dude still won a SB and is probably happy with it.
