I mean okay. I'm not even sure how the comments under the OP's post disagree with this. If he doesn't win a NC eventually yes, he's gone. The question is when is "eventually"? Is it 10 years from now? Yeah, LSU will get tired of it. Is it 3 years from now? Hell no he's going nowhere.

I came up during the Hallman days as a Tiger fan, pretty crazy to think that the last 3 HC, and all wildly different from one another, each won a natty.
Miles and Saban were not "one of us". None of that matters, if you don't win here nothing else matters, blessed to have gone to a university and team I root for have where that is the expectation. Fewer and fewer programs like this in college football it seems like every year. There are many head coaching spots where 6-6- or 7-5 they may give you an extension now wheras in the past your seat was red hot.

FSU isn’t a bad team, too many fans have this game already in the win column. I am hoping that LSU will win, but I think this game may come down to kicking.

I think the 12 team playoff may change things in the future. He might not have to win a NC In the next week years, but missing the playoffs will not be acceptable

He isn't wrong. If at a minimum we aren't in the playoffs within 3-4 years the Brian Kelly experiment will be deemed a failure.
I think he will get us there for sure, but IF not then he should be gone.
