No. Take what others are doing and do it better. Can you imagine a light show working the crowd to a a frenzy in the dark only to be hushed by Borne then have TGBFTL play pregame as lights return? We can improve what’s being done; quit being so insecure about “copying” we need to do this for many reasons.

It would, and as I mentioned improve on others. How about a hologram of Mike on the field or hologram of great plays in TS history (Cannon punt, Hodson to Fuller, Etc.)?

The light show at ucla in rose bowl was neat and at Ala 2019. At Ala the lights seemed to stay red until Lsu broke huddle. It was impressive and effective in getting the crowd back into the game. The atmosphere changed after dark when the lights came on. We are missing a chance to help our team with home field advantage by using lights to get the crowd into the game. It would definitely help keep a second half crowd. We are late on this.

I would support any improvements to the game day experience that keeps people in the stadium.

I had childhood epilepsy that I’ve outgrown but they used to flash strobe lights in my face during sleep studies—to trigger seizure activity. For that reason even to this day, I close my eyes and put my head down if I’m at an event where they have the flashing lights. I missed about 50% of Transiberian orchestra concert as they use a ton of lighting effects, which made it awesome but also not worth me potentially busting into convulsions. My pediatric neurologist in NOLA always told me to close my eyes and put my head down for the rest of my life for strobe/flashing lights.

All this to say… I’m for the lighting effects but they do need to be cautious about the flashing.

I’d love to see and upgrade to LED lights, but could we please get the damn sound system in the stadium upgraded too?!!

Jesus, i don’t think they’ve improved the PA system in Tiger Stadium since my first game as a child in 1972!

Purple lights would be dope but what about black lights?

Black lights look purple but our white jerseys would GLOW on the field.

Lights and crowds don't intimidate football players.

If they promoted it to be done midway through the fourth every game, I bet that helps slow the bleeding as far as people leaving early goes.

I don't know about the technical feasibility of doing that, but if it could be done, it would be absolutely incredible.

I’ve always wondered if they would even work well with the unique stadium lights that LSU has. With that huge distance between the field and the lights, will the purple LED’s be bright enough to illuminate anything?

I was at the Auburn game. They had a great LED set up and sound in the stadium. IT did get the fans crazy especially in the 4th quarter. I am usually not a fan of all the razzle dazzle, but honestly it was pretty cool and the crowd and Players for Auburn loved it.
