Leavitt is playing like Burrow and Daniels did their first year!

Yeah he’ll stay for 2027 - and who knows - but yeah we’re definitely not as far as y’all think from being a elite program- just won’t be this year - losing whit and green our best players on both sides of the ball pretty much assured us that three or four of five loss team is our path this year - hopefully it’s 3 .
Lastly not gonna get any easier from the refs at auburn Tenn and at home against Tex and Alabama.

Leavitt is much more careless with the football than either of those two guys ever were.
Also, it’s “their”.

I wonder if it’s the speed of the game in the SEC that gives them trouble their 1st year. Or is SEC speed even still a thing.

Since the injury he’s a much better passer than 22 Daniels.

Not just the speed of the game but the lack of experience on the road in the sec certainly also a big factor - but yeah hopefully he’ll get more confidence from here on out.

You got to be kidding me right? Burrow and Daniels were not turning the ball over every damn game. This dude is too cocky for a guy that is hurting the team with this shite. Stop turning the damn ball over and go one game without turning the ball over! Earn your millions and stop being cocky and fix your shite! Don’t compare this guy right now to either of those dudes don’t do it again ever you make yourself look stupid!

No he’s not. Burrow and Daniels threw 8 interceptions in their first years combined. Leavitt has thrown 8 interceptions through his first 6 games.

He’s a good player but clearly I can see way too cocky and not good enough to be that cocky. He needs to look at himself in the mirror and change.

Some of you have no idea what an accomplishment winning a championship is. Zero respect for what it takes.

Except Daniels protected the ball to a fault and Leavitt still turns it over all the time

Leavitt just like Nuss is a turnover machine. Burrow and Jayden were the complete opposite during their time here. They hardly ever turned the ball over.

Leavitt has played well minus the turnovers. He's really developed as a passer.
Any chance we have next year is based around Leavitt.

Aside from that how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

The thing is yes he passed the ball well mostly, but when you turn the ball over that much it takes all that away. So no, he didn’t play a good game. Get rid of the mistakes!

Also sucks for ‘22 Daniels he couldn’t extrapolate a 2.5 game span against an FCS team, one of the SEC’s worst defenses that already quit, and an average UK team over an entire season
FWIW though 6 games (the much easier half too) Leavitt has thrown more INTs (8) than Jayden Daniels did over his entire 26-game LSU career (7). Daniels only had 3 for all of ‘22. And through 6 games had 1 INT on MORE passing attempts than Leavitt
Now imagine what the latter could’ve done with a Kiffin molding the offense around a player’s weaknesses instead of a Denbrock just letting the QB figure it out

He clearly does not like criticism. He better wake up and accept it and make changes to get better. Stop being so cocky you ain’t learned how to play QB yet.

He’s not a finished product. I never said he was and that’s why I was suggesting that he’ll probably stay for 2027.
But turnovers aside let’s say Lane grows a pair and goes for it on that fourth and 1 - we win and then l bet your response to Leavitt’s to would be different- loss was on the coaching period
