Is being one of the top 12 teams in America too much to ask after supposedly spending more money than any team in America and having like 20 new coaches on the staff?

Leavitt is much more careless with the football than either of those two guys ever were.
Also, it’s “their”.
negative, Danies ran it with one hand all the time
Leavitt is struggling with throwing balls high when he has a hand in his face
the fumble was an OL getting pushed into Leavitt, I mean, we have to get tougher upfront

...in year 1 in the SEC...probably.
It wasn't impossible. But, things were going to have to fall your way. Things haven't fallen LSUs way. Instead of an above average team from a health standpoint, it's been closer to catastrophic.
Ole Miss, TX, and Alabama were really tough games on paper...like playoff level type games. A&M prior to the season looked like a small step down from that but a team that could definitely be a problem. As it turned out, A&M isn't good, but Kentucky is and you have to play that one on the road. State is another one that's good enough to beat you.
I think this LSU team could end up being a top 12 team by the end of the year...even if it won't be ranked in the top 12 because of the way things have fallen. IMO, the best view of this season was going to be to sneak into the playoffs and then be playing your best football.
The money you spent was to dig yourself out of the hole you were in. You fooled yourself into believing it made you a significantly more talented team than everyone you play.

How many turnovers did he have in 2022?
