Leavitt can't read defenses, throw accurately, or go through his progressions.

He's seeing ghosts out there. He looks so uncomfortable in the pocket and with how bad the OL played, its really hard to blame him.

Lane's offense is supposed to make QB play easy with simple reads and quick throws. Leavitt makes it look like a special needs kid is going through Harvard Law by how difficult it is

Leavitt lead his team to the playoffs already he shouldn't be learning how to play the QB position still. I think it's more he just don't know any of his players and trying to get used to them

He likes to run early after the first reads are covered..... there's not a lot of time back there in the pocket, that is some big ole fast boys rushing and trying to kill him,

We've seen enough of him to know he's not the guy. Hopefully Lane, who just lost to his old team with inferior players, sees the same.

Not trying to pick on you but this is exactly how we felt about Jayden Daniels his first year. In fact, everyone was saying how he regressed each year since his amazing freshman year at ASU. In fact, the parallels are a little eerie.

He reminds me of Matt Mauk's first year. First instinct was to run; couldn't throw accurately; didn't go through progressions. He learned and became a damn good QB. It's been three games with all-new WRs, a new scheme, and a new O-line. He will be fine; give it some time. We get past A&M, and we've got a few games to get right.

Can Kiffin coach him up to improve as the season goes on..I think so...but..yeah...painful...WRs were open...couldn't connect. The goal line pass to the back up for Green...that one hurt

Watching the NFL for the past couple of weeks indicates that NFL QBs don't have a lot of time in the pocket either and are being pursued by even bigger and faster pass rushers.
If Leavitt doesn't start keeping his balance when releasing his passes, he's going to realize quickly that his earning potential is about to end at LSU's NIL pool.
