a lot of tiger fans bitch about the fans leaving at halftime. Just to let you know that, in 2006, it was a goal for our team to "make the fans leave at halftime". At least, that's what one player told me.

Your avatar brings back lots of memories of Tiger games, walking the bike path back to Tigerland in a happy state. And Sports Illustrated, and Freds.....

fan police are just the worst....Look if LSU is going to schedule these dogshit opponents for the sake of cashing in on a home game well people are going to leave early, these games are uninteresting.

Now if you want to bitch about people leaving games early that are still in doubt, I'll agree that's shitty. But sitting through an entire game of watching us skull frick the likes of Idaho and Towson doesn't make you a better fan.

fricking this. I've never left a game that was in doubt. Didn't leave early for the Troy debacle a few years back. But I don't feel the need to prove my "fanhood" by sticking around for the 4th quarter against Idaho.

Personally if I pay to go to a game I am going to sit through it to the end. Even if they are destroying the cupcake team they are playing.

I remember back years ago when it was easy to get tickets to an LSU game for a decent price. Now it's frustrtating to come home on leave from the military in hopes of scoring a couple of tickets and you can't find any. Well you can if you don't mind being scalped. Instead I end up watching it on TV and by half time or early 3rd Quarter the stands are emptying out. That aggravates me to no end.

Just saying....years ago you had true LSU fans..the ones that stood by our tigers no matter the record... now you have the true LSU fans, plus all these damn bandwagoner fans. I see guys now that used to sport other university caps and jerseys and despised LSU. Now the hippocrit bastards are all decked out in LSU colors and swear they've been life long fans.

You guys can do what you want, I prefer staying and won't judge you especially if you're true fans. I just pass judgement on those that are bandwagoner fans and they know who they are.

That's the way I feel about it. I only have 8 nights to be at the game. I'm staying whole time. I don't care about socializing or drinking.

When I go to these WKU/ Idaho games, I usually bring my kids. They usually aren't awake by half. When I go by myself, with my wife, or with a friend, I'm staying until the end. But that's my MO.

I usually do the same, but when some geezer keeps harping on me about "all" the fans leaving, I get tired of the subject when we are up by 31 or so.

If you out bid me with TAF, you can have my tickets and determine how long the seats are occupied. Untill then, I'll make those decisions.

Thanks.

One of the disadvantages to the commercialization of Tiger football, is that anyone who can afford the tickets can get them.

So some rantard who sits in the stands yelling while we're up 50-3 midway through the 4th is a better fan? How? But tell you what if doing that makes you the greatest fan ever then you can win that award. I'll just continue to leave these shite games early and head to the bar to watch meaningful games. Somehow I'll live with not getting to wear a greatest fan badge.

Sending money to support the program is much more important than cheering through blowouts.

And it's not even close (obligatory rant language included).
