I personally don't understand leaving an LSU Game early. Why?

For me, it's usually because:

1. I'm drunk
2. I'm tired
3. We're winning by 30
4. I want Pluckers

Just to let you know that, in 2006, it was a goal for our team to "make the fans leave at halftime". At least, that's what one player told me.

Pretty sure that was the team goal in the early 90's too. They just took a different approach to making it happen.

I plan on leaving after the first quarter to beat the halftime traffic.
A young fan last week sat down for about 5 minutes, declared he wanted a beer, and got up and left. He never returned. The band hadn't even done pre-game yet.

At that point, I knew washington was in trouble.

If that's true, which it isn't, why not make them elated and not show up at all? I mean you can always over eat and get drunk at home.

I never understand this. Football is too precious and comes around only about a dozen days of the year. The score doesn't mean as much as the Moment does.

I'll do one better. I am going to SKIP the game. That's how confident I am. Beat the traffic that is leaving early to beat the halftime traffic who is leaving early to beat the end of game traffic.

Now if you want to bitch about people leaving games early that are still in doubt, I'll agree that's shitty. But sitting through an entire game of watching us skull frick the likes of Idaho and Towson doesn't make you a better fan.

One of the disadvantages to the commercialization of Tiger football, is that anyone who can afford the tickets can get them.
This allows us to attract shitty fans who indignantly allow that they paid for their tickets and will leave when they want. The result is the tradition of Death Valley is dying...
You can't deny these douches their right to help kill it.

Ummmmm....gray tiger....you suck at basic comprehension.

Did you read the fricking OP?

Or are you trying to steadily, yet ridiculously make your way to 19000 posts? That's close to 200 posts per month. Gafl.

Here's an idea, push your fat arse away from your lubricated keyboard and get some exercise.

FWIW

The head coach at LSU and the team have stated numerous times they have no problem with people leaving....They state that it's there job to beat the crap out of other teams and clear the joint out

they want you there at the beginning and if the opponent is still hanging around than you should hang too

but they take pride in clearing the place out....means they whooped that arse frankly

And yes I do think that the people that stay for the duration are better Tiger Fans

I don't leave games early, but only because I travel from Tenneessee. But this comment is ridiculous.

If fans want to beat traffic and we're up by 35 at the half, why give a frick?

Yes and I read the same post yesterday and at least once a week. I have read this same lame excuse way to often.

This is your business....how?

WOW. A personal attack and then you run ahd hide. Let me guess, your mommy caught you playing on her computer again and sent you out to play?

But thanks for posting. You are a real credit to the integrity of the board and your posts add value to it.

"Run and hide"

Again, 200 posts a month, yet no real answer.

Your yearning to police the rant and the fans who leave early is feeble.

We bought a ticket, we can leave early if we want to. It's blowout wins against _UNT and UW. Not a close game w an SEC- opponent.

And if you read the op, he is only stating the the coaches like to see the stands empty in lieu of a blow out bc it means just that.....an easy win for us.

You read way, way too far into the op and the majority disagrees w you anyway.

And thanks, I'll have a good day.
