This has to be #1. We “lost” and then got another chance because of a Tennessee frick up not because we did something great.

Too many to count in Les Miles Era

Les had the talent to beat teams by 30+ points and LSU would win by a single score. Even wins were disappointing.

2014 Wisconsin where the only reason LSU won was because Wisconsin had a converted safety playing QB that couldn’t pass to save his life, Tanner Mcevoy

Didn't Melvin Gordon get injured as well? I'd say that was just as much of a reason

How is that obvious? LSU lost that game. Re-read the thread title.

Auburn 2019. Best team of all time barely escaped. Everyone talks about 2019 as being the GOAT college football team, but everyone forgets, we barely escaped with this one.

I guess 500 yards of offense, 300 yards passing, and leading by ten until there were seconds left in the game is “barely escaped”.
We should have and did win this game and honestly it should have been worse

The Tennessee game that we lost then won due to them having 13 guys in the field on the last play.
Everybody call T-Bob and thank him for calling that time out.

We lose if he doesn't have the presence of mind to get the Refs attention and call it.............

That one was bad. I thought it was over. But honestly I doubt any of the teams in the GOAT conversation didn’t have at least one of those.

The Bama game was a question mark as well, felt like we really destroyed them but they somehow came back pretty strong late. Burrow and CEH gave 120% in that 4th quarter so we never fell behind.
