He was given more than his share of chances. What a waste.

Good riddance. I've got a family member who teaches at Ehret and Starks made her job hell. I hope he'll mature but he has a long way to go considering the stories I've heard.

Ehret had the reputation (still does) for being a school that was out of control. If I were Coach O, I would be hesitant to recruit any more athletes from that environment.
Ehret sucks but it's a much better environment compared to a lot of New Orleans public schools. Not all Ehret recruits were trouble. Darrell Williams is a good dude and played well for us.

There is a culture and an attitude you gotta have to be a part of this football program now. It's not for everyone.

Well I sure am glad LSU Football has finally stopped being a program that embraces armed crack dealers

If Donte ever gets his mind right, he will play in the NFL. If he doesn’t, then he’ll serve hotdogs and cokes in NFL stadiums.

Or end up playing a game of pitch and catch in prison.

I can guarantee two things from kids recruited from john egret high school. They carry guns and can’t make the grades. This high school is not really a school. It’s a day care for teens. And a dangerous one at that

The academic qualifications for athletes aren’t that difficult - team should stay away from “student athletes” that have as much trouble “qualifying as he did -

I was always under the impression that football players were pretty much given passing grades. I don't imagine put much effort in to it. Hopefully the kid can get his shite together.

Anybody know where he ended up? Looks like he was road tripping on his IG story and showed a maroon jersey that said CCC and Tigers. Not sure what community college that could be. Hope the young man can make a change for the better.

Tyler taylor!

Man his freshman year I thought he was balling out and was going to be the next big linebacker to come from LSU... I would love him to come back if he can get cleared I think he went juco last year... I remember he was a thumper and pretty fast or at least made decision fast in his limited time in.

If you were the one making the choices you would KNOW which way the tracks ran.
