Can you really blame them for being confident? They’re going to be a real good ball team regardless of who wins this game.

I always find it ironic that our fans want to say how much each opponent sucks while simultaneously talk about how we play a tougher schedule than anyone else

I’ve never once said that Florida State sucks. That’s some of our more deluded fans that say that.

Wasn't aimed at you. sorry if it seemed that way. I was responding in kind to what you said about what would you expect an opposing team's fans to say. Their site seems a lot like LSU's, lots of hyperbole.

Nobody says that FSU sucks. We have a very healthy respect for them and realize we will have to ball out to beat them. Meanwhile their "experts " are saying they can even play poorly and still win, and their fans are calling in predicting 57-13 wins (yes that actually happened). And their experts are saying "I could see us winning by multiple scores" out loud on pod casts like we are a mid major instead of a top 5-7 program.

From listening, it's not even disrespect for LSU, it's just a belief that their roster is so unbelievably great other teams don't really have a chance. All their comments are based on this idea that they just have far better, even INVINCEABLE personnel. You can tell they have been in the wilderness for a LONG time. They are celebrating the triumph of their program nationally before they have earned it. This isn't about a game with LSU (the opponent is mostly irrelevant), this is them celebrating being in the playoffs. They are back, baby-it's just a matter of how bad they beat everybody down.

Quite delusional. Reality will arrive Sunday night when LSU drills them good and wins going away. Not even close. 42-10

I consider myself a more realistic fan than some of the prognosticators that have been mentioned in the site however does it really matter what fans say.....? I enjoy good banter with whatever teams fans were playing that week but honestly what fans say dont really matter worth a sh..it..the game will be decided on the field and the results can speak for themselves... fans are gonna be fans...who gives a phuck..excited to see the game..expecting to see some great ball...its been too damn long of a summer. Go noles..

I have 2 coworkers who are FSU fans and this is literally their thought process. You would literally think they were a game away from the Playoff last year or won a Championship the way they think. Welcome to relevancy

Another spring/fall practice talking point that cant be measured against anything but every team says this.

Not to mention that it shows how clueless they are to the roster issues we had last year. It's almost mathematically impossible for them to have improved more than us on that basis alone. Does it mean that we're world-beaters? Not by any means. But we were a glorified MASH unit the last time they faced us. And I don't think they have any idea what the shape of the program was at that time. They're also pointing to the bad showings vs aTm & Georgia as reasons why we're not that good, as if those weren't direct reflections of these roster issues/lack of depth. But I say let them be ignorant. I want them punching the air Sunday night (or maybe some drywall).

We’ve been told this about FSU about as much as Texas. I guess at some point it has to come true.

I feel like FSU is being seriously over-hyped because of their glory days. Last time I checked, Mike Norvell is still their head coach. Not to say he won't have a great career, but what exactly has he proven at this point? I'd take Kelly in that battle all day, everyday.

Hell, the last time we had a chance to see them play, we witnessed them in a shootout with 6-7 Oklahoma.

And the last two times we played a team, besides one who lost half their players, we were boat raced by Aggie and Georgia.

I doubt it. FSU should be very good.

The vast majority of LSU fans expect a 1 score game. We are concerned with our secondary being ready since we are starting portal transfers at both CBs.

One area I expect FSU to see the biggest difference in LSU is our OL. It has gone from inexperience and uncertainty from the first game to what may be one of the best OLs in the SEC if not CFB. I wouldn't count on LSU making unforced errors like 2 muffed punts and missed blocking assignments on a FG and extra point.

Daniels understands the offense now and Perkins is no longer a special teams player like he was last season and will have to be accounted for at all times. It should be a good game.

On 247 Team Talent Composite for 2023 LSU is 7 and FSU is 20.

I told my son, "I feel like playing FSU is like playing Auburn. It's a game we should win but it's going to be a battle." And lo and behold, FSU and Auburn have similar roster in terms of talent according to 247.

LSU fans know that two slip ups a year kill the season.

FSU fans will celebrate two losses and excuse them away.

Just like they have forgotten their absolute dismal three game stretch last year.

FSU celebrates minor things, because that is all they have.

LSU fans worry because we have Bama, Arky, Aggie, Florida, Ole Miss in front of us and a loss makes things tough.

FSU has Clemson left.
