Brossette - 640 yards to date
CEH - 475 yards to date

Going off of 6 games remaining, Brossette only needs to average 60 yards per game to get to 1,000. CEH needs right at 88 per game to get there. When was the last time we had 2 in one season?

I would think Guice and Fournette, but I don’t think they were both on fire at the same time.

Keiland Williams and Jacob Hester?

I don't think he ever got close to 1,000 yards.

I think you're right.

And Keiland Williams never got a 1,000 in any two seasons combined.

A few came close, but do not think it has ever happened. Best same year RD duos imo:
* Fornette- Guice
* Alexander - Robiskie
* Cannon - Taylor

Derrius Guice 1,284
Darrel Williams 842

I think these two were actually closest.

Maybe Mealey and Faulk if you count Mealey's 227 yards against ND in the Independence bowl from 1997, but still not 1,000.

(bowl games did not count toward stats prior to 2001)

Less than that if you count the SECCG and Playoff.

I think Alexander and Robiskie came the closest in 1976. Alexander finished with 876 and Robiskie had 1117.

Was looking at Alexander’s career back in the 70’s.........they sure didnt worry about ruining running backs for the nfl back then. That guy had a ridiculous amount of carries. Over 40 several times.
