Larry and Gus and their hatred for LSU is pretty entertaining (690AM radio guys)

I can't get over how much they hate talking about LSU football.

local NOLA guys on 690 AM. they are big time Tulane homers who will spoend hours talking Tulane football, and when a caller brings up LSU they start whining about how all we care about is tailgating. If they just knew that, unlike Tulane fans, we also care about winning.

Larry went to LSU and Gus went to Southern Miss. I've never had the feeling that they hate talking LSU.

can't listen to their banter against LSU,
then when they get the sports guy from Fox 8 on it get's even worse
I can't attest to any hatred- but's it's not even balanced it's almost always negative
bad show.

You obviously don't listen very much. Larry went to LSU and was a sports reporter for the Reveille plus has a show with Guillbeau. I would say he's a pretty big LSU fan. Their station does carry Tulane athletics so they are kind of obligated to talk about them. I think their group gives a nice perspective of LSU instead of the sports talk garbage found in Baton Rouge

During the baseball regionals, all they could talk about was USM was gonna annihilate Miss. St, SEC is weak, LSU being lucky in CWS, etc. I was so glad when Miss.St. beat USM in the regional.
This morning, they were discussing SEC expansion...USM guy "they wouldn't let in USM, SEC is afraid of them".
And no matter what the discussion is, it ALWAYS turns to LSU...I figure if you hate a team so completely why the obsession??? Then I remember the jealousy of little boys. F**k 'em.

First of all, there station broadcasts Tulane games so they are REQUIRED to talk about it. They actually don't love to talk about it that much because they know it kills ratings.
