Lane admitted he talked himself out of the fourth and one

On Monday, this has to be asked: what do you think looking back now? Why he talked himself out of it because he is a cutthroat, finish them attitude coach
So he either didn’t have confidence in the play call, or the offensive line. I don’t know, but you are literally 36 inches away from winning the game right there. on the 40 yard line
How do we not take that opportunity and win?
I understand he played the odds to some degree, but if he was on the other sideline as the Kentucky head coach and has a chance to beat LSU, you know he goes for it
So we’re gonna have to ask our coach, what have you learned here, because we need that Lion mentality
Finish!
Play to win

Even if he doesn’t convert and you hold Kentucky to a FG, you have TOs and time to go down and win it. Just doesn’t make sense

He had to catch himself about to punt on the 4th down where the popped the pass to Harris against aTm too.
He’s coaching way more conservatively than normal.

Sounded like he had misplaced confidence in the defense.

It’s really not outlandish to think your defensive coordinator who is paid 3.5 million dollars a year to go and stop someone at the end of the game for a change-especially Kentucky.
I think Lane is going to coach and call the game differently now that he understands Blake Baker’s limitations.

This loss is completely on Lane. You had a chance to win and choked. He made the call.

It was a bummer the moment the punter came out.
Sucks, but hopefully it snaps him back into his visor.

I’m not saying Lane Kiffin doesn’t deserve some blame. That doesn’t mean Blake Baker isn’t a problem, and an expensive one.

I didn’t realize LSU hired a neutered coach. Pathetic.

Udtiger, Sloan was really good on his last play by spreading the WRs out and zone blocking the middle wide enough to run a greyhound bus through the the open hole.

I didn’t have a problem with the decision to not go for it on fourth down, the problem I had was Baker not mixing in a couple blitzes to mix it up on that last drive that allowed Kentucky to tie it up.

Bullshite. Championship teams dont take risks like that, especially with an elite defense and the highest paid DC in football. Saban never did that. You dont win championships by taking all those risks constantly. Now if you want to argue our defense and DC is suspect against decent offenses, and therefore we should have gone...i agree. But, we arent winning g anything if we dont have a defense that can get a stop with no timeouts and 50 yards to go....and baker has proven he isn't that guy to get a big stop on a big moment.

Mincey must have had a shite-eating grin on his face when he saw that before the snap.
Holy frick.

Aggie post-game presser Lane stated thats why we were hired here (regarding that 4th down pass to Harris) and then 2 weeks later is scared to go 4th and 1 to end the game.

Most LSU fans knew who he was when he was hired. Be that guy.
Losing games because you’re trying not to be that guy will lose more fans than not.

Not with Baker as the DC. Absolutely pathetic.

He hasn’t been this year. Punted twice with less than 1 yard to go against Tech too
