Everything Gov. Landry said on Fox News today is accurate. He didn’t criticize Coach Mulkey. In fact, he said he respects her. He called for a new policy that would require athletes to stand for the National Anthem.

Even Fox News’ Sandy Smith, a former LSU athlete, agreed with him. What is wrong with having athletes demonstrate respect for the nation? I’ve known, and been a fan of, Coach Mulkey since she was 12 years old and I believe she should alter her routine to allow her players to be on the floor for the National Anthem.

The only thing he's right on is the political aisle.

Or, she could just keep doing what she is doing. All football teams are in the locker room during the anthem so do you want to change that, as well?

So you think that America should impose mandatory virtue signaling on all college athletes and the athletes should be kicked off their college sports teams if they don't comply?

This is like fricking Soviet behavior.

How about he come up with new policies for education, crime and infrastructure in the state of Louisiana instead of spending 72 hours on this fricking nonsense

You would think someone with was the attorney general would understand basic constitutional law that would apply to a public university. But why do that when you virtue signal to your base.

Being able to protest is a constitutional right. Conservatives always say that free speech is under attack, then turn around and freak out on people protesting the flag(even though the team didn’t even fricking protest). This is why politics are dumb.

I am pro anthem, but I don't agree with the idea of forcing another policy.

I also don't understand the fake outrage either. I'm so tired and disgusted about LSU constantly being targeted.

Damn well if Sandy Smith said so, it's a closed case!

You mean to tell me a fox news employee lapped up Fox's talking point? Unbelievable

So you believe the LSU football team should change its long tradition of running onto the field through the "tunnel" the Golden Band From Tiger Land makes for the players AFTER the band has completed playing the national anthem and the colors have been retired?

He forgot the interview question where CKM was asked about the anthem, in which she explained that THEY HAVE A ROUTINE where they leave the court at the 12 minute mark after they've done their pregame stuff. Clearly you can't read or listen.

Forced patriotism is the least American thing I can think of, ever.
