Its crazy how 2-3 retards can jump into a thread and ruin the entire thing.

It quickly goes to 5-10 pages and appears there are a massive amount of idiots, but its just a few spewing their stupidity for the entire thread.

Money is well, money. Some other things are priceless. He apparently considers the "LSU Experience" priceless.

Not really. There were 9 last year. At least one of them was for medical reasons. 9/315 isn't a lot.

From last year’s MLB

“All but three of the 315 players selected in the first 10 rounds signed pro contracts, just one more than the record low of two from a year ago”

Turned down 1.5. When the club comes around to a better offer he will be gone.
Seen this story a bit to often.

I counted on the MLB draft tracker, I guess they didn't update some of them. That's where I got the 9.

But 3, with one being medical, means it's pretty much a lock that if you were drafted in the top 10, you sign.

Retards don't handle facts well.

I also know that all teams that are interested in potential picks always try to find out what they would sign for it’s called signability. This happens months leading up to the draft. That’s usually the “offer” that’s turned down.

That's not an "offer". You can't offer a bonus to a player whom you don't own the draft rights to and any player subject to the Rule 4 draft can't accept such an offer. Now if you don't want to call a verbal agreement between a club and an undrafted player that the club is in a position to draft an "offer", so be it. You're splitting hairs there.

It's going to be pretty hard to top 1.5 million from here on out. They would have to go well underslot for some top round picks to come up with that kind of dough

That's the most recent year, and a continuation of the trend of a smaller percentage of top 10 round picks not signing.

I'll give you credit. Usually when people make themselves look like stupid jackasses in a thread, they quietly disappear. You, however, keep coming back for more, and adding on more stupidity.

At this point that would be way over a million over slot. I don’t think teams can do that without penalty.

I could be wrong because I'm fuzzy on certain parts of the draft as well but I believe they lose a draft pick the next year?

Please for the love of God just ignore this fricking moron. An offer can be official if it is offered over the phone. He officially turned it down. You keep saying "official" and trying to twist words when if they offered you that thej it's fricking official. The turning it down does not negate that it was a fricking offer.

I guess you missed the basic B-Law class at LSU. A verbal offer is not a non-offer.
