What a crock of shite. Do you expect him to say that he is just at LSU because of his brother and he is just going to take up a spot on the team and not try to be good?

I guess I can put away my Fournette for Heisman shirt for the next 16 or so years.

Good Luck to you Lanard. Thank you for choosing to be a Tiger and all the sweat & hard work that goes along with that. No doubt you will represent LSU well in all your future endeavors.

I'm thankful for the work he put in and that both he and his brother chose to play for LSU. However, I think Lanard will shine in another school such as Tulane, ULL, or Southeastern.

So, he's just quitting football? OK. Bye.

I ain't mad at him, because we really don't need him. But quitting the team in the middle of the season because you weren't getting the playing time that you wanted shows a lack of character.

Taking hits in practice and then not playing would take its toll on a lot of people. Wished he would at least hang around the team.
I wish him well, but this is very odd timing. We're already into October. Unless he has a job waiting for him, why not just stick it out. We've got a shot this year for something big. He's come all this way - wouldn't he want to at least ride this train for 3 more months?

Or maybe he's got better shite to do now that he's graduated and has a degree.

He owes nothing to LSU

It is odd. Why not just enjoy the ride and be a part of something special. That’s not better than sitting at home watching on TV?

Yeah I'd rather be getting beat up in practice every day than getting a chance to watch a few games from the stands

Thankfully he has thrown the yolk of tyranny (The NCAA) off and can now profit off of his likeness.

Curry will probably be next, he almost left last year due to playing time until coaches convinced him to redshirt
