re: Lanard Fournette leaving LSU

Guys lets be respectful. He did his best and wants to move on with life.

I guess I can put away my Fournette for Heisman shirt for the next 16 or so years.

I'm thankful for the work he put in and that both he and his brother chose to play for LSU. However, I think Lanard will shine in another school such as Tulane, ULL, or Southeastern.

So, he's just quitting football? OK. Bye.

I ain't mad at him, because we really don't need him. But quitting the team in the middle of the season because you weren't getting the playing time that you wanted shows a lack of character.

I wish him well, but this is very odd timing. We're already into October. Unless he has a job waiting for him, why not just stick it out. We've got a shot this year for something big. He's come all this way - wouldn't he want to at least ride this train for 3 more months?

sorry guys, there is more to it than that....he has already been through the grind, this is his senior year, and now has some playing time...i sense there is more to it.

Hope the best for him.

Curry will probably be next, he almost left last year due to playing time until coaches convinced him to redshirt
