Let’s geauxxx! Wow Little on the mound. Thought for sure it would be Riley. I doubt he goes more than 2 innings prob keep pitch count down for usage this weekend

Little getting the start tells me that they are still unsure about who that third weekend starter is going to be.

Nobody has really taken the 3rd starter spot yet. Hurd looks to have moved himself right into a spot, but Floyd and Shores still have things to prove. Little deserves a look, as much as I like him as a reliever. Good opportunity to see how he extends with a week and a half until conference to rest.
Or, it could just be Jay's way of ensuring that Little gets some work today in meaningful innings.

Not sure why so many are surprised. We were all expecting Cooper to go back to the bullpen. Little was always thought of as a possible starter.

I think you might see the pitchers used more like last year tonight and just pitch 2-3 innings with 3 or 4 pitchers ( Hellmers, little, Riley, mayne Guidry Dutton
