KL didnt make her not use proper following distance.
KL "did" make her make a decision she wasnt ready for and because of her "own negligence" she caused an accident.
KL is not responsible for her "own negligence".

End of story

You're making too much sense. Rantards won't understand. Vacherie Saint is about to implode.

Edited to change Tiger to Saint.

This is the first case I've ever seen play out like that. Obviously a death occurred so it's a little more than avoiding an idiot and totaling your vehicle because you ran into a tree. That's literally what it sounds like to me.

Answer the question I asked. Maybe that will help you understand.

So if I run a red-light causing two other vehicles to collide, but I avoid any contact, I'm not responsible?

If she was paying attention and following with distance, this doesnt happen either.

I think everyone acknowledges that.

maybe not but we dont know her driving record and was most likely gonna cause wreck again or eventually by the way she was driving

Like I said, what she was doing, we all do it. We aren’t all giving our undivided attention to the road at all times. That doesn’t mean she’s absolved from wrongdoing, b/c she is 100% at fault. She was on a road in an area she knows very well and didn’t expect the situation that unfolded, all b/c of someone else driving extremely reckless.
What Kyren was doing that day was not normal, and that type of driving leads to accidents and fatalities all the time. It’s reckless driving.

Aren't you taught to not avoid wrecking if it's at the expense of other vehicles.

So for that I say in order to avoid a wreck you caused a bigger problem even if it wasn't initially your fault. You have control of the wheel and you should've seen that avoiding a wreck would put you into oncoming traffic. If I was Lacy I would expect you to hit me.

Bro, no offense, but what the frick.

You literally say she had to avoid Lacy, or at least a situation he created, but then say it's not Lacy's fault anymore because the cars HE put into danger avoided hitting him. Seriously man. What the frick.

No I read fine. The notion that she had to hit Lacy for him to assume responsibility is just fricking dumb.

So under your analysis what is Lacey responsible for?

As far as I’m concerned, I’ve seen no proof that kyren was even driving the green charger

Ok buddy I'll take your word for it.

Maybe I have to relook at everything. Not that I will.

Honestly arguing over someone who is dead and even if anything was guilty of careless operation. Just isn't worth it.

Defense attorney continues to muddy waters in defense of client.

I don't think he's muddying anything at all. He is defending his client from criminal charges. He says multiple times that this is a civil case and not a criminal case, and always leaves it at that. I happen to agree that there is not enough evidence to convict Lacy of the things he was charged with, and therefore Lacy is innocent, just as his attorney is saying.

Now, civilly, I do not think Lacy would stand a chance in court.

Going 50 in a 40 and approaching a car going reportedly 28. Saying he slammed in breaks when he says he didn’t. She was in the wrong too.
