I get the sentiment but it’s not as effective when the players you put in aren’t as good as the ones you bench.

Typically moves that don’t work out aren’t effective. That doesn’t mean he’s treating this like a typical midweek game he doesn’t care about winning.

It would have taken away a lot of the bad decision opportunities. But then again, he created some from nothing by playing Hellmers at third.
