It takes a strong person to face off against the government and justice system once it targets you unjustly. It would have been hard for him to come out of this, but not impossible.

Have you ever faced a felony charge? Even if you are innocent, the pressures that places on a potential defendant are enormous. I knew a guy that was accussed for embezzlement. He was not responsible and the prosecutor knew it 3 months before telling him and counsel....they even admitted it. Guy had lost his job, his wife and him had separated he was a mess an on edge all of the time. His life was turned upside down because the prosecutor thought he could smoke out the real culprits if he said nothing.

are you saying the logical response to a felony charge is threating family with a gun and shooting yourself?
Yes, I have and it was later dropped because it was self defense.

I asked in the big thread and if I understood right they may have had it but couldn’t publish it until after the grand jury. Sad isn’t it.
The public scrutiny and pitchforks is what sent him over the edge I’d assume even perhaps knowing that this would come out.

That bodycam of the trooper suggesting testimony to a witness is actionable, IMHO.
You can't do "whatever the frick" and get away with it under all circumstances.

First off, he didn’t threaten a family member. He shot the gun into the ground and had made up his mind to off himself. He wanted the keys to his car not to do it in front of his family.
Is it a sad situation, yes. But to claim he threatened to harm a family member by shooting into the ground is not telling the entire story and twisting what happened.

So you actually harmed another person directly or even killed someone yourself, and while in self-defense and I glad it worked out for you, was not something directly you had nothing to do with and then were being attacked maliciously by thousand and possibly millions of idiots online calling you a piece of shite and inhuman.
Again, very happy that you were innocent and able to not have to suffer for undeserved consequences.

As Kyrens attorney stated, social media is a HUGE part of every kids life now. He read what was being said about him whether it be this site, fakebook, twitter etc.
EVERYONE made up their mind that Kyren was guilty because of a very faulty police report.
In my opinion everyone who commented prematurely (myself included) should feel guilty of his death.
And no these threads are not dumb! Kyren was crucified before any facts came out and was judged by his status in society and color of skin period!

That lazy arse cop should. Maybe if we start holding police accountable for their actions or lack thereof they will start to do their job better.

Kyren had issues. Kyren killed himself.
Moving on.
Moving on.

Some people just don't get it. Yet, I bet those same individuals were championing the fact that now online bullying that leads to kids committing suicide is a crime and bullies are being held accountable.
This was more than just a case of being "mistakenly accused". Why was the female that "ACTUALLY" caused the crash initially cited for following too close and then the citation done away with? Why did the officer show up to a witness home and tell him what to write for his statement? Why was the body cam off 4.5 minutes while the officer talked to the woman and then turned on?
Yes, Lacy ultimately pulled the trigger but there were circumstances that led to that event.

Somebody knows the name of the trooper that made all this happen.
LSP is a dirty organization as a whole, but this specific trooper needs street justice.

Look little piggy, if the other little piggy wouldn't have pushed the witness to say something that wasn't true it wouldn't have put these things in motion. There would've been no straw to break the camels back. We need to get rid of qualified immunity, and these horrible pigs need to be held accountable for both the lack of action and the actions that lead to ruining people's lives. They make good cops look bad.

He was having his life and career destroyed before his very eyes, and as it turns out, through no fault of his own.
I think the interaction with the family member was probably all still an escalating function of that.
This is a horrific, tragic situation.
Somebody needs to be held accountable here
