That isn't average, lol.
Obviously I don't mean average for a human, I meant average for an NFL draft hopeful WR.

Gotta admit, I don't really understand the simping for this dude. Innocent until proven guilty has less than zero to do with LSU allowing him to be in their facilities after he allegedly killed a veteran and didn't care enough to stop and help. Maybe if someone has access to further information that I haven't seen then I will change my mind. Until then, this is a bad look imo.
I’ll offer that there is a distinction between representing LSU on the football field, and participating in something more akin to a job fair.
I would also presume that the LSU athletic department does have access to further information as well, and that went into their judgement on whether or not to allow him to participate.

Puka Nakua was a 4.65 too.

You guys are so brainwashed to believe a 4.5 40 is slow; as a former athlete, 4.5 is fast.
4.5 is usually the threshold for an NFL receiver.

It was a 4.6 per LSU’s website.

Are you serious? At his size of almost 215 those are almost elite measurables speed wise. None of that there is bad for a guy his size. It's actually pretty good. Not elite but definitely good.

Some scouts had him hand time in the 4.4’s and with a 36” vertical jump.
Seems like LSU’s site is off

I was saying in my post they aren't elite wr times but there are definitely different type receivers and it isn't bad for his type

can careless
The correct terminology is couldn't care less.
Care less and careless have two different meanings.
Sleep through 2nd grade English much???

Miami receiver who's a pretty good slot guy ran a 4.8 and he went for 1,000 receiver yards back-to-back years

Me too. NFL receivers don’t average 215 pounds. That’s a big boy, even for the NFL. And he runs 4.5 at that size.

He drives much faster than that tho.

His attorney claims he didn't cause the accident. Some of what initially came out was inaccurate. He didn't hit a car at all, the question is if he was passing, possibly illegally, and caused the accident.
FWIW I think this is more a matter of how people interpreted the LSP report. The version of events that’s out there now is basically the same version of events that I imagined when reading the initial report (unless there’s been some very recent information I haven’t seen, like over the past couple of weeks).
It’s just that the language they used to describe the incident was a little confusing. But I never saw anything to indicate that he actually hit anyone. The allegation has always been that he was passing at high speed in a no-passing zone and caused the accident because others swerved to avoid him.

LSU is sort fo in a no-win situation with this. I am not surprised nor would I have been if they had denied him the opportunity..
Agreed. The incident has given me a pretty negative view on Lacy (if nothing else, because I think it’s a POS move to drive off without even calling 911) but he already missed out on the combine. If LSU doesn’t allow him to participate at pro day, it basically guarantees that he goes UDFA.
That may happen anyway depending on how the interviews and the teams’ internal investigations go, but I don’t think LSU should take the decision out of the teams’ hands when he hasn’t been convicted yet. I do think he would be suspended if he were still in the roster.

Pretty rough for a receiver. And he doesn't even have the consistent hands to just be a guy that gets to the sticks and reliably moves the chains. Not to mention pro day times always seem to be a bit friendly
At 6’2” 215? That is ok. That won’t be the reason why he isn’t drafted for sure.

Why does it matter if he’s a Vet or not?

What would you want Kyren to do, sit around and wait until after the draft to start working on his Pro Day?

He’ll be 25 in December, and will prob in court for his bday cake. No one’s touching him; BK threw him a bone for recruiting perception for the future derelicts we want. Good gesture
