Innocent until proven guilty my dude
that's only in a courtroom.

Organizations can fire, suspend, refuse to hire, etc. based merely on allegations. They don't have to wait years before the trial and appeals are concluded.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is just a legal standard that only applies in a courtroom, meaning that the state must prove guilt.

It doesn't mean the rest of the world has to do the same.

Let's be honest most people went ahead and judged him guilty already. It's really sad that people think that way.

I didn't say it wasn't fast enough. I said it's not a time that would be considered fast

You guys are so brainwashed to believe a 4.5 40 is slow; as a former athlete, 4.5 is fast.

according to the 2025 NFL combine results, 38 WR's ran the 40-yd dash. Lacy's blistering 4.5 seconds time would have him in 27th place.

FYI - 23 CB's ran the 40-yard dash. 4.5 seconds would put Lacy in 19th place amongst CB's. Nearly every CB is faster than Lacy.

this isn't 1984 when 4.5 was considered fast. 4.5 is considered average to below average for a WR by today's standards.

I'd take him in the 7th.

Dude will probably be retired from the league before that case is settled.

Yep. Because he'll be retired by September 2026 after getting waived a half dozen times between now and then by the handful of teams desparate enough to take a chance on a WR with average speed, poor pass catching skills and character issues.

Why does it matter if he’s a Vet or not?

No. He'll slide down draft boards, but he'll probably play in the NFL. The family of the deceased might even hope so so that they can break off a cellular civil suit.

So telling multiple posters “you never played” is a worthwhile comment?

not only are you a former athlete who claims to have run a 4.5, you can also predict people's sports bios based on what they post

FWIW, back in the day I was the Times-Picayune HS player of the week for my performance at TE vs. Newman. Pretty sure I played the sport and have the newspaper articles to prove it

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!!!!!

Without the nfl kyren is nothing to the deceased family.

Kyren will make it to the nfl and pay the deceased man’s family.

Nothing will bring the deceased man back to his family but a lil money will help the deceased man’s family big time. If Kyren in jail the deceased man’s family will get nothing.

Civil cases and criminal cases are two separate things. Even if the family doesn’t want him to go to jail, they won’t be making that decision. They may ask for leniency, but there is no guarantee. That’s if he is tried and convicted or takes a plea deal, none of which has happened yet.
